After being at a loss for what was happening with my dog for over a month, they were able to immediately diagnose what the problem was and provide effective treatment. I really appreciate the entire staff here. Lauren, one of the vet techs is such a gem. I could really tell how much she cared, which I feel is a quality lacking at other offices these days. Dr. Bri explained exactly what they were going to do, what was going on and what the best plan of treatment would be. I really appreciated her concern and thoroughness. I can also tell this office is up to date with the latest technology, procedures and medication options. I would recommend anyone to take their furry friend here, they really treat your pet like their own.”

“Our dog Hazel stayed here back in May and Dawn was great, the place is clean and catered to Hazel's needs. Hazel is a rescue (I notice a previous review from Eddie L which is completely false), she's a Husky German Shepard mix and is very energetic as well as being an escape artist, Dawn was able to take this into consideration and provide ample boarding and stimulation for her. We also got her groomed here so as well as being greatly taken care of she also came out smelling and looking amazing! I wouldn't take Hazel anywhere but here! Edit: Wanted to also add that I was initially nervous about boarding Hazel as it was the first time I had to and Dawn would send me daily updates on how she was getting on which I really appreciated.”

“Our Lilly girl developed diabetes and the whole office went out of there way to help us. It was a ruff 10 months but we finally got it under control. Dr. Stephen Burke Was wonderful with all the help. We lost our Lilly girl on 10/3/2022 the diabetes was to much for her old body to handle. We contacted Dr. Burke about euthanizing her the next day. She let us know that we could come in first thing. Unfortunately our baby didn’t last through the night. We were devastated but contacted her and let her know why we wouldn’t be in. Not more than 2 hours later there was a delivery person at our door with flowers from Dr. Burke and staff. Talk about a compassionate veterinarian! We will continue using her forever. Words cannot express what this simple gesture mean to me in my family. Thank you Dr Burke and Staff”

“I have a 9 yr old German Shepherd named Harley whos been in my family his entire life and means a great deal to all of us. Harley had been on a downward spiral and one day took a turn for the worse. I brought him in to see Dr Kniffin expecting to hear bad news. He treated him and sent me home with some antibiotics and special food for him. Within 2 days Harley was looking and feeling better than ever. I continued to run the course of antibiotics and harley is doing much better. I cant thank him enough. “Otis (our 3yo male cat) had an enlarged bladder and urinary blockage. Dr. Baker immediately saw us and discussed options clearly and thoroughly despite being busy. Otis had to stay overnight for two days and we were able to bring him back his blanket and toys, observe the procedure and view x-rays, and spend time with him throughout the weekend while he had to be treated. I hope of course I don’t have a reason to bring him in again for an emergency, but if I do I will absolutely be going back to VEG in Nanuet. The entire staff at VEG are so welcoming and kind. It’s clear that everyone who works here cares about the animals they are treating and it was much appreciated during a stressful time.”
