“Expert art restoration and repair. I took a 100+ year old portrait of my grandparents and aunts that was printed on canvas and had been rolled up in a tube for an undetermined period of time. There results were nothing short of miraculous. I am so pleased. Don't think that your project will be done overnight. How long your project will take will likely be determined by the nature of the problem and how many projects are ahead of yours. Believe me it's worth the wait.”

“Wow. Was so excited to stumble across this place. They have the cutest selection, and the best stuff, and the building is stunning, all of the work that they did inside is incredible. Amazing stuff from local artists, great prices, beautiful quality. The owners are the cutest couple who totally converted this beautiful 1800s home & did all the work themselves. They are super sweet and incredibly friendly and I was blown away I have fantastic this place was. I cannot wait to see what they do in the future as they grow and expand, but for now this place is still my go to whenever I have an excuse to be out towards Brooks. They always have something adorable and unique that I can’t live without 🥰”

“What an amazing place! I surprised my mom with a glass working class for her birthday and we had a blast. There's a huge parking lot and the building itself is absolutely breathtaking. Christian and David were our instructors and we were in a class with five other people. The workshop was from 12:30 to 2:30 and since we weren't in a hurry, it was fun to watch the others go first. We made glass birds! It was exciting to get the opportunity to have such a hands-on experience, but as beginners, it also served as a perfect starting point! After we finished, we looked around the shop because there was a plethora of things for purchase and we picked up our items the next day! 10/10!!”

“Great place to relax, get some steps in and see some interesting sculptures. We went on a beautiful morning and walked through all of the 70+ sculptures. Very interesting, even for people who don't know a lot about art, it is very cool to see. There are cards at each spot to tell you a little about the piece and artist. If this review has helped you, please give it a 👍”

“Fascinating, inspiring interview with artist Yuri Boyko on his current Fabrik project "Meditation on a Tree," in the exhibit "Here Comes the Sun". He is so descriptive of the cognitive aspects of creating art, and the ways human experience can be conveyed by the artist. I'll always see more in trees than ever before. Thank you.”

“I inherited two oil on wood paintings from my grandmother that were in terrible shape. Honestly so bad, I was embarrassed to bring them in. Hayk spent time carefully explaining the process and the time line. I have the first one back and it looks like a museum piece. I am over the moon! Five enthusiastic stars.”

“I'm a Salem resident and I am on a mission to tour all the local attractions AND places of relevance. About this one: This art association is located at the wharf, inside the historical yellow building close to the Friendship vessel and in the Maritime National Historic Park area of Salem. It consists of a gift shop with handmade items from local artists of very reasonable prices, a gallery on the same floor hosting a collection of Paul Nathan artworks, and a large gallery on the second floor. At the time of my visit, the second floor was showcasing a very interesting juried, temporary exhibition of various local visual artists around the theme of storytelling/myths/fairy tales. The gallery is free and open to the public on weekends. I think it can be very enjoyable for locals - especially having always new exhibitions - and visitors alike. If you are visiting Salem, it could make a nice 15/20 minutes visit to get a grasp on the local artistic scene and take a break from more commercial attractions and activities. And to possibly find a unique memento from Salem. Pictures are allowed PROs Artistic, very local and rooted to the true spirit of the town. Free. Pictures allowed. CONs Nothing to say here! 😊”
