“Great place, always has something cool to see or experience. Parking is hit and miss and downtown is downtown. There is almost always an unhinged Christian preaching about the fires of hell on the corner. I would suggest visiting in the daylight and I’m not joking.”

“Fantastic exhibition by Julian Perry. 'There Rolls The Deep' until June 4th. Climate Change and Rising Sea Levels addressed in beautiful paintings.”

“A pretty cool lights display! This lights art installation is amazing and worth the visit to this place. It really lights up our spirits too! Only drawback is that you can never take a picture without any people walking amongst these lights, since this place is super popular and will have tons of people visiting it at any time of the day. But the best time to see this grandeur is after dark, once the lights are on and shining bright!!”

“An outstanding gallery, truly the mainstay of Sydney’s art scene. The remodelling of their classic rooms is a must see once fully reopened, and the Archibald always attracts significant talent and some truly breathtaking portraits. Also don’t sleep on the free exhibits downstairs - oftentimes there are some understated and lesser-known (read: not mainstream enough for the average/passive consumers of art) artists displaying real killer stuff.”

“The zine exhibit was impressive and thought-provoking. The cafe downstairs was also relaxing and the service was great. It was a little tricky navigating the building however I loved the gifts shops and the historic and artistic look of the building.”

“We met a wonderful woman named Brenda who is a sales person in this gallery. I highly recommend her and the gallery. Brenda brought the art and the artists to life. It was one of my most treasured moments. I paint, certainly not on the caliber to be in a gallery but I know how to appreciate how much effort goes into the art. So many thank yous to this wonderful gallery and to Brenda.”

“I was stunned. The museum is beautiful outside and inside. Great collections (with Dali's Christ on the Cross on display) and lots to see and experience. It's completely free, so make sure to go! On Sunday there is an organ recital around noon, which was also cool to see and hear.”

“The collections are absolutely wonderful. You will find multiple concepts under one roof, which appeal to many. Even if you're not a fan of art, this is a great place to visit for a few hours. I truly enjoyed the "General Idea" exhibit. They had many exhibits that would make you stop, ponder, be in awe, and walk away with a greater appreciation for art. I would highly recommend visiting as they admission in inexpensive (20$ for adults, 10$ for students with your card). It was a great way to spend an afternoon and learn about various artists.”

“I have not yet had the opportunity to go to Paris to discover the new Australian Arts Gallery, but I am happy to attend the online conferences offered by Stéphane Jacob. Thank you for thinking of the provincials who are thirsty to perfect their knowledge of this extraordinary culture. I hope to see these appointments continue.”

“A fascinating centre representing a vast array of art styles, culture, concerns and people. The staff were lovely, welcoming and informative, the installations were interactive, the building was fresh and seats are provided. Sculpture, film, 2D, and culinary were on display at the time of my visit. Ramps and lifts are available for accessibility and there's investigation activities for the older kids- great venue for arty teens and their families. The location surrounded by gardens, stores and restaurants is fabulous too! Undercover parking about a 2 minute walk away on Stanley Street. Wear comfy shoes as you'll be wandering from piece to piece in wonder and not notice how much walking and standing you're doing 😇”

“Went on a late Tuesday morning, it was empty 😁. We got spend a good amount of time absorbing the work. So much art to take in, I could've spent all day in each room. The building itself is exquisite and gorgeous. The top floor is my favorite, if you see nothing else, go to the top floor. Overall, I have a wonderful experience.”

“Boomalli is a really lovely gallery featuring some fantastic artists from around Australia. We have really enjoyed going there and have always been treated very nicely whether that's with or without our kids. We have met some of the artists there as well and they have been very friendly, happy to talk about their art. Never felt any pressure to buy. Their online gallery is also really good for a preview.”

“Lovely selection of paintings from Utopia, plus other interesting items on display and for sale. Very knowledgeable and informative staff member on the day we visited. We learned a lot about how galleries such as this support their community of artists. Many thanks Simone. Note: the gallery still has a large sign round the corner from Todd Mall, but has now moved to Elder Street. Worth seeking out.”

“This is a coffee shop. They also offer some pottery classes in the rear and I wasn’t always sure if it was a coffee shop. The coffee is fantastic and really good quality. I was a bit skeptical and figured it’d be average but I was pleasantly surprised. The space seemed a bit quirky the first time I walked in but I think it’s part of the artsy influence. They had a lot of pottery decor on display. I think that’s also what makes it unique - I’ve really started to like the vibe. They have a piano and offer some classic open mic nights -which you don’t often find in a coffee shop anymore. If you’re looking for a quiet place to read a book or a spot to meet with a friend, I’d recommend checking this place out.”

“My wife and I discovered this gallery a couple years ago while visiting Tucson, and we've been back many times since. It's so wonderful to see it grow to showcase even more artists and offer workshops. The owner, Pam, is delightful and enthusiastic and the gallery is just fantastic. Highly recommended!”

“This shop has an array of art offerings. Sure, there are professional fabulous paintings and sculptures, but also $15 unique, handmade silver and stone rings. The woman that hosted us that day was not a lifelong native of Cape Charles, but is an enthusiastic promoter of the region. Whether you make a purchase or not, it’s worth a visit to appreciate the beauty that’s there.”
