“I visited on Day 2 of them being open. The selection was terrific. All the pastries and breads looked beautiful. I chose for my lunch an egg salad sandwich from the cold case. The selection there was a little skimpy, but it is only Day 2, so maybe it will increase. I had also a raspberry fruit bite pastry, which was a perfect little treat after lunch. I definitely will be back to try more of their items. The ham and cheese croissant looked particularly good as a lunch option, or even breakfast. In addition to the baked goods and food, they offer coffee, espresso drinks and teas.”

“5 stars because of the Bakery and the Delta view provided at this venue. Frankly most of Antioch is a place where one must often look over their shoulder — at least at Monica’s one can be at ease. The food is delicious, the staff while often a bit stretched is friendly & courteous, it has a diverse arrangement of places to dine and drink. The fire pits can be enjoyable on a chilly night or day especially with a drink in hand! While you may full indulgent don't let that hinder the good time to be had. They have live music which draws a crowd but that is great if your trying to enjoy an evening or socializing. Sundays are very busy after 10 a.m. onward. The bakery while not open Monday’s offers throughout the rest of the week a fine array of decadent treats that would make your trainer blush. It handily puts the competition in its place. A fine place indeed, that provides an escape which in my estimation is worth every penny!”

“This was an interesting experience. I expected a full service restaurant, but found out it was more of a store where you order pickup, to go, or groceries. We asked about eating in and they informed us they have these tables they can set up next to the bench. So it is technically a dine in restaurant. The pricing here is fair. The sizes of the pizza were generous. It looked like Detroit style pizza to me, served in rectangles. The people working felt more like a family vibe and they were very friendly and casual. Parking is available on the street for free. I took a photo of the parking area next to the building. We ordered the garlic cheese bread and a sheet pizza that we got split into two different toppings. I went with a mostly vegetarian, so we didn't get meat options which is what I'd normally try. I did like the cream cheese addition. That was a nice touch. I'd like to go back and try more options. Hopefully find myself that 5 star combination.”

“Order to Taylor, ham, egg, and cheese, as is the standard breakfast a choice in New Jersey. The Taylor ham was well cooked and thick with generous portions. There was also as it seems to eggs on the sandwich. I was genuinely surprised by the amount of protein the sandwich packed. It would’ve got five stars but the bagel was a little chewy and not at the level I normally would expect.”

Our waiter showed up timely, and was very cheerful, patient, and accommodating to our needs. Our food was fresh, served hot, and nothing was over-cooked. Even the orange juice had a great just squeezed taste! The atmosphere was quiet and we were able to chat while having a great breakfast dining experience. I gave 5 stars for the totality of the experience, not just for the food. NOTE: There was a selection of fresh pies as soon as you enter the restaurant that looked fantastic, however we didn't purchase one. But you might just want to take a look to see if something catches your eye, for a family dinner or dinner party.”

“Love love LOVE sweet generations. I had the absolute best customer service experience with this bakery! I was in town in February looking to do some cake tasting. I had gone to two bakeries that I just knew off the top of my head and after scheduling tastings at both, I show up for them to tell me they would be closed on my wedding week (week of July 4th). After asking around for recommendations, I had two people mention sweet generations. I gave them a call and asked to schedule a tasting. The owner told me they usually did tastings on certain days but I was leaving before those days to go back home. She squeezed me in anyway and got me on the schedule for a tasting the day before we left Louisiana. The cake was DELICIOUS and it was the one thing I looked forward to from February until July. I ordered a 3 tiered cake with Pineapple, Bavarian Cream, and strawberry fillings on each of the different tiers. We also ordered a chocolate grooms cake with chocolate buttercream icing. On the day of the wedding, the cakes were delivered with no issues and tasted just as good as when we had the tasting. I would recommend Sweet Generations a thousand times over and I’m so glad we chose them for our cakes. I plan to go back to sweet generations every time I return home to Louisiana.”

“My dad was craving a banana cream pie for Father’s Day. I searched Pie shops and found Sue & Kim’s and decided to take the plunge. This is not my favorite type of pie because they are usually overly sweet. However, this pie was very well balanced and delicious. The banana cream was sweet but not too much, but what balanced it out was a whipped cream topping with little sugar in it. That made each bite very enjoyable. Whipped cream and banana cream layers were about equal thickness and perfect together. Don’t debate, just order a pie! Note that it is best to order at least 1 day ahead.”

“My family tried Maxie B’s for the first time on my birthday. We ordered a couple of pieces of cake late in the evening not long before they closed. There was a long line to order. We tried an assortment of things, like the coconut cake, apple cake, caramel cake, and a lava cake with a side of vanilla ice-cream. The order counter was set up outside of the shop as the inside did not appear to be open. From the looks of it, the inside is quite lovely, but they have made an outdoor seating area in about 4 or 5 parking spaces just in front of their shop. We were lucky enough to find a table after we ordered, and really enjoyed the selection. The staff were very pleasant and once we ordered, it wasn’t long before our order was ready. We’d certainly enjoy coming her again. Each cake was very tasty.”
