“BR ice cream itself is great if you like traditional, hard ice cream (I do!). I love that they have a new featured flavor or 2 every month to make it more interesting. This location has its pros and cons though. It's nice to have an ice cream shop in Central QC, and most of the time, when I go, the employees are at least attentive, if not friendly. You can sample as many flavors as you want, and they always have water and cups available for customers. They are really good about letting me customize my orders too. The thing I've noticed though is that there are frequently only teenage employees with no supervision, which means that no one is cleaning up regularly, they are antsy to close up when it gets within an hour of closing time, and a few of them lack basic necessary customer service skills and food service skills. I continue to go back because of the location and for some favorite flavors, but I do wish the owners would do something to take some pride in the appearance of their shop and in the way they train their employees.”

“So nice :) I needed a cake within 2 days and they could do it. Did it over the phone and when I got there to pick it up they showed it to me and it was perfect! Only $20. It was a simple cake with just writing so, I knew it'd be fine. Got sprinkles and candles to apply myself, and they had a great selection of balloons. Got in and out in 10 minutes. Made my partners 21st so much more special. (bakery lady was in the back for almost 2 minutes though and I didn't know how to get her attention. Was on a time crunch. Maybe put bell at counter?)”

“This place is outstanding! Came here looking for a last minute Easter treat idea for my mom and this place did not disappoint. I was looking for something fruity with my mom's two favorite being peach and mango. To my surprise they actually have a Peach Mango mousse cake so that made things easy. I was helped by a friendly employee behind the counter that was very helpful and packaged everything up nicely. Then I asked about how much time the cake could be out of refrigeration since I had to take the Gold line train home. She informed me the mousse cakes are frozen and should be thawed about 2 hours before slicing. That was pretty much the perfect situation for myself. Got a cake combined with moms two favorites and the cake survived the sunny commute home. Flavor wise, the cake was delicious. The mousse was flavorful and not loaded with sugar, the glaze was not too thick and didn't take away from the rest of the flavors. They sell cakes and also small individual pastries and coffee. Their biggest cake will run about $39 and their smallest was $24 I believe. I will definitely be returning.”

“On our way to Medina we made a stop at Spencer's The country Store. We had home made Pie on our mind. But... to our dismay The country Store did not have any. We met the baker who was a friendly gentleman. He offered us a frozen pie with many flavors to choose from. This was perfect since I wanted it for Easter desert.
