“It’s hard to articulate my experience with Crossfit Haymaker (CFHM) and what the community has meant to me personally, but will try to tell you what I’ve learned below. I do invite you to not just take my word but just come see for yourself because it’ll be immediately apparent. "CrossFit is for Fit people" - You do not have to already be at some arbitrary level of fitness to show up and do crossfit. I was never an athlete growing up and never learned to work out. You’re going to be sore after trying something you’ve never done, give it a week and keep moving. The coaches at CFHM will help you on your form, help you scale appropriately and meet you where you’re at - Whether that’s where you’re at overall physically or where you’re at that day mentally. The people who look like scary fit athletes want you to succeed and do your personal best, they’ll cheer you on no matter what you’re doing. Mental wellness - The mental fortitude you develop by showing up and tackling a challenging workout is immeasurable. You prove to yourself that you can do hard things that you never thought you’d be able to and it translates to other aspects of your life. Constantly varied & programmed for you – I get to roll out of bed, show up without thinking and just do the workout on the board that the coach is telling me to do. It’s never the same and I don’t get bored. Also if you want to switch it up there's other variety of class offerings like yoga, gymnastics, etc. Group accountability – half the time I show up because it’s like hanging out with friends. Friends that sweat together stay together. People will notice if you’ve gotten off track and check on you to make sure you’re okay. If I show up to another class that’s not my usual one I’m still welcomed, spoken to and included by the members in that class. I’ve tried out so many other types of gyms where no one has engaged in a conversation or made it seem like a community which just made me realize how great and welcoming CFHM is. COMMUNITY – its truly a community not just a gym. The coaches and members care for each other, service and leadership to others and are just overall amazing people to surround yourself with and look up to. Want a girls dinner? Lets do it. Want to do a community fundraising event? Yep! Competitions? Lets go!”

“When a therapist says "call me any time if you need me" and genuinely means it...that;s a therapist that cares. My experience with Gantt Therapeutic Vision has been a healing one for sure. Corlette is nothing less than completely professional yet heartfelt in her sessions. She is much less clinical in her approach which I personally have found to be more productive than past experiences with counselors. I have several friends and co workers who have counseled with Corlette and I know I can speak for all of them when I say she is amazing at what she does.”

“Very excellent tasting food! They have a great atmosphere too. We ordered Hummus which had its spices and oil. Very delicious, ive had my fair share of hummus and it has been bland. They have it perfectly blended! That with the bread they offer was great. Well also had the Dolma which was delicious as well. The grape leaves were soft and the stuffing was flavorful. We had ordered the Beef and Chicken Kabob with Saffron rice. Full of flavor and marinated, the rice was cooked great too. Wife added the cranberries and they make it a sweet flavor to the dish. Service was great. It was a slow night so no wait time. Servers were very kind and courteous. Professional. Will definitely eat here again when we visit Sacramento.”

My hair is super long, thick, and curly, so it’s a big help to pop in for a quick wash with a nice scalp massage for only $20. “What can I say about Suzanna McGee in a short review that will capture the essence of who she is and how she has helped me? I’ll start by saying that she is extremely knowledgeable about the human body and a professional, through and through. But not only that. She is caring, understanding, motivating, inspiring, funny, and fun. And patient! I started training with Suzanna in 2017 at a park close to where we both lived. I thoroughly looked forward to our meetings, even though I hate to exercise! Suzanna made training doable and enjoyable. When we moved from meeting in person to Zoom sessions, I thought my enthusiasm for our sessions would wane. It hasn’t! Now that we’re 3000 miles apart, Zoom is our only option, and my workouts are valuable as before. Even though she can’t be right there by my side, I can tell that her eyes are on my every bend and breath, checking to see that I do the moves correctly. I’ve had several physical issues over the years that Suzanna helped me better understand and then addressed by varying the exercises to fit my needs. It's not unusual for me to get a text that leads me to information that will help me improve my health and speed up my recovery. That's Suzanna - she always goes the extra mile. “Dr. Lauren Dust was absolutely amazing! I have been to several different doctors who would either not listen to me or miss diagnose me. I had a physician give me hard contacts which was not necessary and a horrible experience. Another one who told me I had, “old lady eyes” at the age of 27. I was so frustrated trying to find answers. My mother had seen Dr. Dust first and told me I should make an appointment. So I did and it was the best decision I made for my vision and mental health! Dr. Dust took the time to listen to my problems, and did test the previous doctors never did! When my glasses arrived I could not believe the world of difference they made. It was a very emotional feeling because finally someone took the time to listen and was able to help! I was seeing the world in a whole new way! I also cannot say enough about the staff! From the time you walk into the door you are greeted with smiles and positivity! Everyone is so friendly, kind, and makes you feel comfortable! My mother had a health scare with her eye and they fit her in and went above and beyond getting her referred to a neurological ophthalmologist. They were so caring they even asked how she was doing when I went in to pick up a second pair of glasses I ordered! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Dust and her staff!”
