The woman is magnificent at what she does, including (but not limited to) cooking on the grill, making deli sandwiches, bagel sandwiches, or any of the other 3 million things an employee needs to do for a bagel store / luncheonette to be successful. We go there just because Phillis's cooking is AMAZING, and we're mesmerized by her innate ability to manage dozens of tasks, all at the same time. Bagel mania's bagels are the best around. The bagels they make are huge, packed with abundant flavor, and are perfect for making just about any kind of breakfast or lunch sandwich. I often buy them by the dozen, and toast them at home as a side for my dinner. Their cinnamon raisin, and their "super cinnamon" raisin bagels toast up like a round hunk of heaven, you can butter up with whatever meal you've made in the privacy of your own home. Love the place. The owner (Pop's) is a real great guy! Always smiling ! Always glad to see you! When my friends come here from out of state, I buy several dozen bagels for their ride home.”

Nancy’s cookie flavor is a vanilla lemon bean and they are so soft and delicious- the perfect amount of sweetness! Not to mention SO cute!!! I first ordered them for a baby shower (EXTREMELY short notice)- all I had to do was send her the invite, and she created beautiful matching cookies that were such a hit!! About six months later, I used her again when I hosted my sister’s bridal shower, and again, her cookies impressed the crowd and were the perfect favors to put on each plate! Nancy’s pricing is very reasonable and also includes options to heat seal each cookie in a cellophane bag, with a ribbon, and a sticker that includes the ingredient list. With both orders, she even includes an extra cookie or two, just incase! She is sooooo kind and great to work with-and a very prompt replier! I will always look forward to having her bake for my events!”

“The lava cakes are really good! They're essentially flavored crusts around the leaky bun egg stuff you find in dim sum. It's probably a bit sweeter than the leaky bun stuff but it works very well as dessert. The other mooncake style pasties are much more mild compared. Good for people who want less sweet. Not my favorite but still good for some. Unfortunately, they're not cheap. The service was good and I'd definitely recommend everyone try each of them! I've had their cakes a few times and each time did not disappoint. Service was also good. The cashier was nice and helpful.”

Been getting most of our Italian pastries from La Rosa's for decades, but I figured I should finally leave a review. Very good Italian bakery with stuff ranging from breads, to meat breads, to Italian pastries (especially cannolis and lobster tails/bear claws), to a really wide variety of cakes. They're a favorite amongst locals who need their fix of Italian desserts, but want to go above and beyond what you find at a supermarket. They take their work very seriously and make sure that every customer is satisfied- they even sat down at a table with us and worked out the details of my graduation cake! I have to add that their cakes (like my own cake) are fantastic- they are very reasonably priced compared to what you'd get for most custom-baked cakes in the area, and they offer unique fillings like cannoli cream. They take serious pride in their work and I really recommend them as someone who's lived in Central Jersey/eaten Italian desserts for his entire life. Oh, and their cannoli chips + cream are really really good. Great for taking to the beach if you have a cooler to put the cream in.”
