She was so wonderful to work with, and made the perfect cake and delivered it to her on her birthday. It was a fabulous Strawberry cake with Strawberry icing, with chocolate dipped strawberries on top. Everyone at my daughter's clinic loved it and said it was fantastic! “I reached out to Julie on a Thursday, needing a cake for Saturday (2 days notice) to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary at a restaurant in Oxford, NC that was a good meeting location for us and them (VA and NC). She returned my call very promptly, and she took it upon herself to contact the restaurant about delivery times. Her communication was outstanding, certainly was outside of her normal working hours. Though she wasn't able to deliver the cake during restaurant hours, she came up with a Plan B so we could pick the cake up in a secure location, and provided all the details we needed. She could have easily said "no, I can't do it", due to the obligations she already had, and the short notice, but she didn't. And I was so grateful. The cake was nicely boxed, beautiful and tasted fantastic! My parents enjoyed it and enjoyed the entire celebration. If the opportunity arises for me to need a cake in Oxford again, I would most definitely go to Julie's Cakery. I also highly recommend her for her professionalism, caring and for being an excellent cake maker!”

The store was 15 min from close and the sub area was already cleaned. Chris could have said pound sand, but he made my sub no complaints. Didn't try to shortcut it, super courteous. Props to Chris, Publix should promote you”
