“In operation for 50 years this is one of the longest running producers of natural baked goods in Madison if not the entire Midwest! Turn on the way back machine and think about hippies making bread - quick fast forward to today. The mainstay is small batch loaves made with organic wheat, my favorites are Cinnamon Raisin, Whole Wheat, and Light Oat. They also have other baked goods the best to me are Fruesli (European style date muesli) and the molasses granola. Show up early in the morning on a baking day and ask for bread "hot out of the oven", they will tell you it isn't ready -- but tell them you want it anyway - it is heavenly, on Tues/Thursday they have store returns at a great price, and finally it is take out only.
