“I ordered a book for a class that would be going on to the hotel that the class was to be held. Icontractor.net did everything they were supposed to do to have the book reach the destination in time to be received for the class. For some reason Fed EX decided it wasn't important enough to deliver overnight as expected and Paid for! I was unable to get any help form FED EX (not surprising at all) so I contacted icontractor.net via FB since I could not get through via phone. Luckily I got Fernando to answer the message although the business itself was closed. I explained to Fernando how the book was needed as ordered and that because it was not delivered on the day expected, we would no be there to receive it, because we were checking out Sunday, the book was due Saturday morning and Fed Ex had it scheduled for delivery on Monday. Fernando, took care of if refunding the full amount of the book in addition to the shipping cost without penalty. Fernando also followed up with me to make sure that I in fact received my refund and made provisions for me to get free shipping when I reordered the book. Fernando was an absolute pleasure to work with, the customer service was above and beyond and I felt secure that everything would work out exactly as he said it would and it did.”

“The store is very large and modern, with many floors and a cafe. The second floor boasted a wide collection of English literature, from classics to fantasy and sci-fi, where I purchased a couple of novels. The top floor rewards you with an interesting roof top view of the city. The store felt lively and fun to experience, tucked down a side street off the main road in the city, Scheltema was an overdue trip I was more than happy to indulge in.”

“This is the finest vintage/antique store in Richmond I've ever come across. The selection is discerning yet fairly priced. Since my interests lie mostly in vintage/antique Asian items, if you are interested in them as well I can say that they have a very impressive selection of Chinese and Japanese wares. When I went today for the first time, there were several examples of vintage hand-painted Japanese "soba-choko" Imari/Arita, the cups used to dip soba noodles into their cold broth. I informed him of my area of interest and he enthusiastically showed me a recent acquisition - a gorgeous ink stone with a dragon motif (I think it's Chinese, but I'm not sure). I should mention that the owner is incredibly warm and kind and will most assuredly help you with anything you need. Even if you are more interested in Western items, you're in luck because that is mostly what they carry. I absolutely can’t recommend this place enough!”

I showed up to Thrifty Trendz not realizing it was by appointment only but Juls the owner just happened to be there and she let me in. I was so impressed by her collection. I bought a cute vintage leather ottoman. I had previously bought some other pieces from another shop with intentions of shipping it to myself. She offered to ship it all together.
