“Ok, so Amigo’s isn’t ever going to be what you’d call “high quality authentic Mexican.” But, if you grew up with it (and King’s Classic) you’re going to like what you get. Kids meals are a fair price and enough food for the kiddos (two 6/7 year old boys). It’s a shame they don’t have the hot cheese pump any more, and they charge for it now. But you won’t find another fast food place with a wider menu; something for all tastes here. This location was clean and the cashier was very friendly, but we were the only ones eating inside so I can’t speak to the speed of service when it’s busier.”

While waiting for our drinks we noticed a stack of board and card games that we used to pass the time and ended up staying and playing while we consumed our drinks. I wanted avocado 🥑 and this one has it along with protein powder, half a banana and berries. You can choose almond milk, soy milk or coconut milk if you don’t water as your base. I selected almost milk. I felt the banana was the dominant flavor in my smoothie but it was still tasty and refreshing. I’d recommend this smoothie stop and plan to return. It’s in a great location on Virginia Beach Blvd near Lynnhaven Parkway. It’s next to a nutritional shop and 2 doors down from Thrive Physical Therapy sharing a parking lot with One Life Fitness. Healthy little row of shops.”

This location might seem a bit “normal” on the outside but the moment you step foot inside you are transported to a magical wonderland of amazing food and delicious desserts. It’s like a slice of Ireland right here in the USA. The lunch entrées are phenomenal, every bite was a new experience (even if I burned my mouth a bit on the shepherds pie). The food is well thought out and has so much love put into it. Now onto the MVP of the meal, the amazing alcohol-infused ice cream treats. It was my first time trying real rum raisin ice cream and it was literally bursting with flavour. The rum soaked raisins are a real treat and the freshly made ice cream is delicious. We had rum raisin, Irish cream pistachio, Irish cream, and sunshine vodka, all delicious. The staff are friendly and do their jobs well, love the uniforms. Overall I was blown away by this experience and will definitely return in the near future for more ice cream filled fun!”

“Small coffee shop inside the Hilton Universal (in the lobby). I went here to grab an easy breakfast for my family on a Monday morning. It was pretty busy when I went but there were a few people working and it went about as quick as a Starbucks. Prices are pretty high, spent $80 on three sandwiches, coffee, and chocolate milk. Food was good for sure, not crazy about the prices, but what can you do when you’re on vacation.”
