“Walked into this charming Italian restaurant for the first time the other evening. I did not have a reservation, but my aunt and I were promptly greeted and offered a table by the window. Our meal was delicious- I had the server’s recommendation of seafood pasta. Wine list was very very good. The staff was detail oriented, the ambiance was romantic, and the music was complimentary. Into our meal, my aunt, who had just had hip surgery, needed to use the bathroom. I didn’t realize it was not on the ground level, but when my aunt asked where the bathrooms were, the owner was so kind to help walk her down the stairs to their bathroom. Great food, great service, a nice family spot. Will definitely be returning!”

When I opened the sandwich box, guess what, breads were at one side, chicken was on another side, and other stuffs were spread throughout the box. I lost my hunger 😢 and collected everything and made the sandwich myself and ate it. Poor me. I know, it was the peak hour, BUT I think the service could be better. I don't mean to say anything bad about McD, however I wanna take two stars for their poor sandwich crafting. I also assume that such things are not so common. Comment if you happen to encounter similar sandwich.”

On my birthday they made a mistake with the golden eagles drinks something to do with whole ice but we wanted blend ice. “Such a happy accident that I found this place passing through town today. The only thing I didn't like is that I don't live closer to visit once a week. I had the "Jenny Louise" or chicken salad on a croissant with side salad,, chips and dip, and the Blackberry Early Grey Iced Tea Latte to start, followed by the incredible Bananas Foster Cheesecake. Not only was everything so delicious that I ate every last bite instead of half like I had intended, the presentation was also very unique and unlike anything I'd seen at other tea rooms. The atmosphere is clean and simple with a country flair, and so so cozy, like hanging out with friends and family in your living room with amazing food. And on top of the wonderful food and atmosphere, the prices were reasonable, and the staff are fantastic, so kind and personable. This really is a labor of love and I felt it in every last bite, detail, and interaction. They were very seasoned to have just been open a year. Please give them a visit if you are in the area. I will definitely be stopping by again whenever I pass through. What a true blessing this place is!”

But here’s the thing, it’s always only once. Why? Because the coffee is mediocre at best and the people who make the coffee are mediocre, at best. The difference of Elevate is this: They are from a town in Washington State, and the wife did her due diligence in learning how to make the best cup of coffee, starting with the coffee bean. They ended up in Tennessee chasing dreams, and they put a coffee shop in Hermitage. There are no good coffee shops on the East Coast. And I mean this. If anyone takes the time to read this review, I hope you know, this coffee shop, and the owners… They got this one RIGHT. Period. We come back twice a year, looking forward to the perfect cup of coffee, all the way across the country in Hermitage, TN. Seriously guys, you got this. “Everyone there is absolutely amazing! They have a great staff that truly care about the kids. I have 2 kids that go there full time, and a school ager who is starting after school and they watch him on school days off. All of their teachers are fantastic. I love getting pictures of them throughout the day too! The director is hands down the easiest person to talk to where it just feels like you are talking to another mom who gets it. My kids always come home happy and CLEAN! (Which was a big problem at one of our previous daycares) Overall, they take care of my kids, and I know they treat them right, which is all that matters to me! 🥰”
