“Our family has been camping there for the last 4 years. Bathrooms and showers are available and close by each clusters of camp sites. There is one communal sink for cleaning dishes. If you forget to bring your own firewood, the camp ground store sells it for about $9/bundle (6-8 pieces). The staff are always friendly at the camp site and at the marina. We always rent a patio boat to explore the lake: fishing, swimming, hiking, and relaxing.”

“Just rented for two weeks. Managers are super nice. Park is very off the track and secluded, city folks probably won't like it here but is a perfect place for this country boy. They have a dock on a sheltered side canal that word has it is great fishing, especially strippers. Small convince store next to dock. I highly recommend this place as a peaceful and quiet get away.”

“My 11y old went for first time & really liked it. Her bff did not, but camps not for everyone. Almost all of their cabin left before/after patches so they couldnt do skit they'd practiced so we ended up leaving before campfire. I wonder if they shift a half hour earlier if more kids would stay longer that friday nite? One other minus - there was a sand volleyball court but no ball all week! The Carlisle YMCA couldnt manage extra volleyballs?!? That didnt make any sense.”

“Check in was easy. Our tent campsite was rather small for our 10x17 tent but it did the trick. It was nestled up against a cornfield. The whole area is close to everything Amish. People lament the fact that the stay is a maximum of 15 days. I was there for three nights. The price was great and they gave a lot of coupons for local businesses. The bathrooms were modern and immaculate. The pool is great. The free Amish bus tour was also very good. Highly recommend.”

“I cannot speak on behalf of the camp ground. As far as the nature conservancy and the trails go this place is exquisite. Wonderful paths and different floral/wildlife inhabitants make any visit to this place a memorable moment. A short stroll or long day hike can be accomplished. Visit. Donate. Check it out.”

“We have been visitors at this Campground every year for at least the last 5 years and most years we come here twice. We have a favorite campsite that whenever we call it always seems to be available. We have a disabled daughter proximity to the restroom and our campsite is very good. We have a golf cart for our daughter and I have never had a problem with that as long as it is insured and in good working order. The lake it is not the biggest but we always have a good time. For the bigger toys trampoline other climbing things you do need to pay a little extra for a wristband. The last time we came up we had adjacent camping site for our son his, wife and our granddaughter. They have a Halloween special every year and we have tried to make it for most years, if you plan on doing the Halloween thing make your reservations early cuz they fill up fast. Overall is a very clean Campground, nice size camping spots and most sites are lake side sites. The fact that we come back every year if not two times a year speaks loudly of our love for this Campground. Give it a try you will be impressed.”

“My wife and I went on the 1-hour buggy ATV ride. Wow, what a blast! We took in the scenic fall leaves. We saw four deer. We also stopped at an 1800's ruin with only the intact chimney structure and water well still visible. Tony was our guide and he was awesome! We had to kick it into 4x4 a few times. Highly enjoyable and highly recommended. We would go again when in the area.”

“Nice campground inside the brown county state park. Not much shade for the campgrounds but it was nice and quiet. Just what we needed. Bathrooms need a little cleaning love but its camping.”

“The owner was so friendly and helpful. We are first time campers and this was our first outing. We stayed on the back side of the lake, it was quiet with a beautiful view of the lake. This site is perfect for a popup. Campsite was spacious, not on top of another lot. We will definately come back.”

“This campground is along the other access trail to Boulder Field, Keyhole, and Longs Peak from the north from Glacier Gorge. The campground is located close to a stream (Boulder Brook), which flows pretty well in the summer, if you want to replenish your water supply. This campground is not extremely popular, but it is a quiet, secluded spot in the forest below tree line.”

“This is a spectacularly beautiful lake. The hike is 2 miles up (and up and up!) from Finch Lake, but if you have the energy it's definitely worth your time to visit. I didn't visit the campsite but I could (barely) see it from the lake and it's fairly well protected from the wind by some moderately-sized pine trees.”
