“Beautiful and nicely spread out campsites. It's nice that they have bathrooms, food lockers, and trash cans (at least in the summer). Lots of trees so you can hang a hammock (just not on redwoods). If you walk up the trail a bit onto the ridge there is good phone service which was nice peace of mind. Was not expecting mosquitos though so I got eaten alive! Bring some bug spray!”

“It is a great place to have a family reunion or other activities of the sort, they have a lake and paddle boats. They are currently in the process of installing new bunk beds in all of the rooms.”

“One of the top camping resorts I have ever visited or stayed at. Great selection of camp sites, cabins and cottages. Two pools, one with a waterslide. Miniature golf, arcade, both are there. You DO pay for your stay there, but you get what you pay for. If I could make a change I would expand the game room, arcade, mini golf and refreshment area, and make it a local attraction for all visitors to Gettysburg. It would clean up and give more exposure to the resort, however, I understand a lot of campers simply like it quiet. :)”

“I didn't stay here but visited my sister. What I saw was very nice. Most of the campsites were under the trees. They had a nice pool area. Had a miniature golf. Good walking trails. Nice place!!”

“Beautiful! Lots of trails and creeks. Plenty of wildlife. There is a ~9 mile trail leading to a lake at the bottom of the valley and a trail that parallels it at the top of the valley going over the low mountains. It’s absolutely gorgeous and the best hiking on this end of the Central Valley. The view is beautiful and it’s well kept up. I highly recommend visiting it, it’s definitely worth your time. Words/pictures can’t do it justice.”

“A hidden gem of a 55+ RV Park 30 North of the Majic Kingdom. Lots are individually owned....but there are rental opportunities. Beautifully landscaped lots, friendly owners & numerous activities. We rented for the winter of 2018... But within a week we were looking for a lot to buy. Very happy we did.”

“2017 Love this place. Some of the friendliest managers and staff we have ever come across. They are truly concerned and helpful that you have the best experience at their facility and all work as a well coordinated team to make this happen. We had stopped in for a few days which became a month and now we have committed to 5 months. We are both very happy here. We will update this review as our stay here progresses. Check out the Virtual 360 tour we just posted to Google Maps for this location. 2018 We are back and for the full winter again. Still loving it.”

“Great place to relax or take a hike. It's a shame people don't take their dog poop bags out with them. I've noticed this at several parks in Massachusetts, people take the time to bag it then either toss the brightly colored bags on the trail or into the brush and trees. It's unsightly. The spring water is a cool highlight.”

“Sky Meadows primitive campground is a great calm place to spend the night! It is a short one mile walk from the parking lot to the campground, making it the perfect spot for first time campers and experienced campers alike! The campground has 15 sites which fit up to six people each. There are also three group sites which fit bigger groups. Each site has a gravel tent pad, lantern post, picnic table and bear box for food storage. There are two pit toliets and non-potable water on site as well. There are also occasional campfire programs put on by park staff and volunteers which are always a lot of fun!”
