“I almost didn’t stay here because of the reviews so I want to leave an updated one so people can know what’s currently happening there. If u need a place to stay that’s clean and safe (bonus: beautiful) and probably one of the closest to Chicago, this is your place. The road there is a pretty smooth country road, nothing bumpy like other posts say. I gave it 4 stars because the lady in the office is a little strange and she got into a little argument with an employee right in front of me. It’s a quick and easy drive into Chicago (40 minutes with good traffic).”

“Great views and well maintained. The native vegetation has matured... much more private now compared to a few years ago...check in is at 3 p.m... rules are enforced and it is all good. This is a very sought-after place to camp in California. Park fills up six months in advance... 30 campsites for dry camping... 30 sites have partial hookups... you will not be disappointed.”

“Gosh, if you'd like to take your family outdoors for a breather & great view, I highly recommend this place. My family and I had a blast. Just try getting there early as there's no parking. You kind of have to park alongside the road. Not to steep of a walk down, depending on where you park. It's free, but no bathrooms or BBQ pits and stuff. So, pack some sandwiches and stuff. :)”

“My wife and I stayed in their rustic one room cabin for labor day weekend and loved it. The cabins are small with almost nothing but an A/C, bunks and a small TV in them. I'm glad we picked a cabin because the tent site where extremely packed and tight. It was to the point we're it just looked like one big tent site. The bathrooms also could've been clean better for how many people were at the resort. The same toilets we're clogged all weekend and the floor in the shower area needed a good scrubbing.”
