“I visited the dream lodge in Ely last month and I had the most wonderful time. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay. The customer service was good and if we needed information we could call the people we had contact details for. We had to call once in order ro get some help and the lady was very quick and efficient with helping us. The lodge was clean, cozy and ultra relaxing. It had everything you needed in order to feel comfortable. I would have liked to check in earlier without extra cost as you would at a normal hotel. Other than that the stay was PERFECT ????”

“Lovely big and clean campsite. Sawdust toilet huts dotted around, all with basins, soap and fresh drinking water. Plenty of fire pits available free of charge. Small shop with quite a variety of food stuff. Optional extras, such as straw bales to sit on, logs and kindling, grills .. Live music from the teepee on Saturday nights, as well as food vans (pizza and fish N chips)”

“Family fun. This campground is filled with activities. 2 pools and a lake. Paved roads for your bikes, huge sites, great snack bar if you don't want to cook. Friendly helpful staff and nice people who are either, seasonal campers, pool members or just here for a vacation. My kids love it. Best part no golf carts. The slightly higher cost is worth it.”

“Set in beautiful countryside.... Owner very helpful and we had an escort to the site. Plenty of lovely outdoor space.... You can have campfires in the fire pits. There are toilets and washing facilities although these are portable. Really lovely lake that you can fish... Back to basics... Just what camping is all about. ????”

“Great place for camping, swimming, fishing and more! The kids activities pool has plenty to keep the young ones busy and safe. The lake now has inflated "ninja warrior" type obstacles for the experienced swimmers. Well stocked store, arcade, special weekend activities, playgrounds, ball fields, so much more! Live music the evening we arrived, and Halloween theme fun as the summer season winds down. Long term and short term sites. According to campground news bulletin, this is the final season for tent camping. Friendly, safe, a pleasant getaway!”

I turned up on a whim the day before last bank holiday with the kids and was welcomed even though they were fairly busy. “Just got back to NY ... .. Sons first camping trip (Tent). We had a blast... Definitely going back.. .The staff and people there were incredibly nice and helpful.. The campsite was very well kept..Thank you guys for making my sons first trip a great memory.. It was everything i wanted... As for Roberto's comment...u are right on about the flag.. Definitely a turnoff and almost made me question if i was welcomed there.. Especially with an 8 year old child, alone , 116 miles away from home... But i can honestly say that thought was relinquished immediately.. Everyone there was great.”

“We love Briarwood! Our daughter went to Briarwood for several years and loved going there each and every day of the summer. She made great friends at Briarwood, had so much fun swimming, playing sports and doing lots of other fun activities. Arts and crafts was one of her favorites. The owners and the staff are awesome. They are so on top of things. They run a great camp and make it so much fun for the kids and so easy for the parents. Transportation is provided to and from the camp which is so helpful.”
