“If your car got wrecked this is the place to go! So happy that I drove by this place and decided to stop. Had 2 claims on my truck and the repairs had it looking new again. He even fixed my bumper which wasn’t apart of my claims. Fast work and affordable. They handled everything with my insurance and even covered my deductible. Communicated well throughout the process and did exactly what he told me he would! Highly recommend.”

“Have you ever felt like you found the best thing in the world? That’s exactly how I felt the moment I drove into this amazing campground. It is absolutely gorgeous. I could list all the amenities and activities but what is most important to me is how you feel here. Growing up, my parents took myself and three brothers camping all over the country. We camped in 46 different states and probably at least 500 different campgrounds. Berkshire is now #1 on my list of greatest campgrounds ever. You can tell the owners, staff and campers here want everyone to love their stay. There are tons of things to do and the park is so beautiful. I wish I could put into words the feeling I have every time I pull into the driveway. It instantly makes you smile and has every stress or worry instantly melt away. I am so incredibly grateful for all they have done for me here and being the happiest I have ever been in 53 years. Thank you Berkshire. Thank you so very much.”

There is a petting zoo, a nice swimming area in the lake, a place to take romantic walks, and cook good food. Dwight and Patty and their crew are friendly and helpful. “This is a good summer camp if you are of a traditional Church of Christ background. The summer camps are focused more on growing spiritually than on playing games. They tend to do a good job challenging campers and helping them grow in their faith. If you are from a different church background then things may not make sense. Compared to other Christian camps, it is somewhat limited in physical space. It is predominately comprised of one open field which most activities take place in. The boys cabins are more dorm like and are not handicap accessible. The girls cabins are also dorm like and are better like but still require someone in a wheelchair to go up a fairly steep hill. The waterfront cabins are cute. They are fairly original and haven’t been updated. You can rent them throughout the off season for an affordable rate.”

“The bathrooms are gorgeous with beautiful wood stalls and the shower was nice. The pool was cool, almost cold even in July but you got used to it. You didn't mind the lack of shade because the water was so cool. The store was very nice and had useful stuff, even towels! Helpful and friendly staff. The spots are a mix of shady and sunny. That sun is hot in the summer though so I think a shady spot will feel very nice. We had a sunnier than shadier. The kids liked the jump pad too.”

“This is a great place to stay for all you folks with RVs. Spaces are large, surroundings are quiet, the ladies in the office are always friendly and I'm sure they're smiling under their masks. Your fur babies are welcome, there's on site laundry, clean restrooms and showers. There's even a pool open for the summer season. Also, walking distance to Elmer's, Arby's, Jack in the Box, Jimmy John's, Starbucks, and The Outlet Mall.”

“Grounds are clean and well taken care of. Most of the sites are pretty well shaded by large trees. Cheap Laundry on site, get quarters from the office. Pool tables in the laundry room too. The manager Richard is super easy going and accommodating. There's a nice public boat ramp just a few hundred yards down the road as well. Don't forget to bring bug spray!”

“Sent my son here for Day Camp during Aquatic week and he had SO much fun! I was able to take a day off and attend camp with him and had a blast myself! They have so much for the kids to do and the staff is great as well! Even the teenage/young adult group leaders were super enthusiastic and really engaged with the campers! Wonderful facilities and grounds and just an overall great experience! We will definitely be returning and hope to make Day Camp a regular thing every summer!”
