“We rented a large cabin and the place was great. Just be aware that the cabins are 1 room so there where 5 bunk beds and a single bed in an open area. They are doing some construction in the park but the noise was limited to earlier daytime. Very quite park. I believe all the sites have lake access. As well as drinking water. Keep In mind that it's about 50yrd to the water so a heavy kayak will be tough but a boat ramp is also in the park. One of the nicest I've seen. 3 ramps total and I had to leave 3 nice kayaks with motor and batteries and fishing gear there for several hours as we were packing up to leave and a storm popped up. To my surprise everything was still there. One of the hidden gems. It's very affordable fun for the whole family. Or could be a Romantic getaway for the parents. Locals tell me they are gonna start allowing private docks on the lake and if so this treasure will be gone. So go soon. Oh and the store and grill at the end of the road is good. They have a little outdoor shop connected to it as well and if you need tackle or anything and that is closed they will open and allow u to go in. Nice people running the park. We had to upgrade from a small to a large cabin and they handled that perfectly. Also my water pump went out on my truck so had to replace that at the cabin and took a little while extra but I called the ranger and since there was nobody behind us they allowed us to use the cabin while I fixed my truck since it started storming. They could've easily charged us another day but did not. So if your on the fence about this one book it.”

“This is a great RV park to spend a week, month, or the whole winter like we do. It is a quiet park on a quiet street. The owners are very friendly and helpful! The other campers are super nice. And the rates are the most reasonable we found. It is close to all stores, restaurants, and my favorite...the beach. It is also pet friendly!”

“A+ for bathrooms with soap! Also, it's super nice they have changing and rinse off areas. It was very useful for having little kids. I loved that they had ropes so kids couldn't go very far in the water. It's shallow though to the ropes so that's nice! Lots of tables to use. We didn't even see ALL of the area so we know there is even more cool stuff. Absolutely beautiful! We will be back for sure!”

“Beautiful park. Be aware that most of the trails are not circular, so wherever you walk you'll need to turn around and take the same path back. It's fine just something to know. Trails of various levels (none very difficult) and nice picnic area. Lots of parking compared to some parks.”

“Awesome staff, super friendly. Bathrooms and showers are cleaner than some hotels. Laundry on site. Sites are very large for a campground with lots of trees, but nicely graded picnic areas on each site with charcoal grill, fire ring and over the fire grill tops. Tons of wildlife including a lot of whitetail deer, ducks, raccoons, even some skunks (that didn't spray me!) Gorgeous lake with incredible sunsets. Prices are great. Staff closes gate at night but it's not locked! Don't let it deter you from camping here. Staff cleaned bathroom every morning around 615 am.”

“This review is for Cane Creek Campground in Snow Camp, NC. We were there in the spring of 2021. We found the campground to be rustic, relaxing and peaceful, just what we were looking for. A great getaway from the business of life. The owners were pleasant and accommodating. We had a full hook-up site, so it was not a problem for us that there were pit toilets and primitive shower houses. We had a great view of the fishing pond. While in the area, we visited Saxapahaw Island Park (20 minutes away), which has access to Haw River and a nice play area for kids.”

“Really great RV park just far enough off freeway to not here traffic. Staff is VERY professional and helpful. Sites are not concrete, but fairly level and easy to get in and out of. Store is small but has required items for your staff or staff can direct you to places. Also, they have some cabins for rent, if you dont have a RV or trailer. Pizza is fantastic and there is NO extra charge for toppings. Ours was loaded with lots of extras and was really good pizza. Highly recommend staying here if you're in Gutherie.”

“Small and quiet Campground/Marina that is located right next door to Arnold's Creek Public Boat Ramp. They provide public men's and women's restrooms/shower houses. They are also a pet friendly campground as long as they are leashed. It is conveniently located approx. 5 minutes from the town of Rising Sun and The Rising Star Casino. Due to the short distance of The Rising Star Casino provides a free trolley service to pick you up or drop you off. Just give them a call to schedule your pick up or drop off time just be sure to ask what the latest drop off time is because I don't think it's a 24 hour service. It is free but I always bring a few bucks to tip the driver.”

“GREAT experience with this dental office. I came in to see Dr. Unser to fix tooth pain from another dentist not properly completing the filling process. He is very knowledgeable and thorough and made some adjustments that have mostly alleviated any bite pain after only 2 days which is a HUGE improvement. “Probably the best RV Campground in the area! I've stayed at a number of campgrounds within 50 miles or so of Cincinnati, and in my opinion , none of them match up to this one. Beautifully scenic, we were able to book one of the sites on a paved road with full hook-ups and a concrete pad. Hook-ups were easily accessible and the pad was nearly perfectly level. Lots of grassy, well-kept space between the sites as well. Numerous hike and bike trails and easy access to all of the amenities of Winton Woods Park. We will certainly make this our number one campground in the area!”

“What an amazing find. This park is incredible. They have approximately 40 full hook up RV camping spots that cost $40 a night. One of the other nice things is that the campground area has 2 horseshoe pits and even horseshoes for guests to use, no need to bring your own! “We are at Tortilla Flats campground. It is convenient because you have sewer and water hookups directly at your site along with a picnic table and Fire Ring Grill. The sites are very close together with little privacy. The bird watching is awesome. It is close to the town of tortilla flat, population 6. We will also take our kayaks to Canyon Lake close by for a paddle.”

“I'm not one that stays at RV parks. I prefer natural areas. But, while traveling through TX we needed a place to stay for the night. We meet some nice people here. The sites are. at least ours was true to advertised very level and far more spacious than the online map. With pull through sites and full hookups. The restrooms and showers were immaculate. The pool was clean. They have a very nice man made lake that is tranquil and perfect for kayaking. The grounds and amenities were pristine. Good experience. We would stay again.”

“Beautiful place. Lots of shaded areas to choose from. There is an RV area but sadly, no shaded area there. Bathrooms and showers are open to all and are kept very clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We've seen a family of wild boars and lots of deer. Apparently, there is a family of bald eagles living there. Weekends book quickly so plan far in advance. The weekdays however, are very open, leaving many of the lots vacant. So if you like less crowds, booking on Sunday through Thursday will afford you more choices and more quiet.”

“This KOA is in a great spot outside Oklahoma City. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bathrooms were clean, but the toilet needs to be replaced in the bathroom we used. The bathrooms had security codes in order to get into them. We slept in a tent and I like how they were located close to the office and bathrooms. Plenty of places to get a quick bite close by right off the exit. Dollar General located down the road for quick supplies!”

“We did trip 1. It's a 6 mile kayak trip, so upper body strength and good back health is suggested. But how peaceful and beautiful. Saw Gators both tiny and big, osprey, manatee, huge turtles. I am new to the area and this will be my "go to" trip for anyone visiting.”
