“The two young men at the this Budget/Avis agency are true gentlemen! I had a corporate meeting that ran over and was running severely late for my flight back home. I was full of panic and anxiety when I came zipping into return the car. The two young men noticed and offered if they could help in anyway. I told them it was okay that my Lyft was 5 minutes away to take me to the airport. They told me to cancel my Lyft and they could get me there in 3 minutes. They loaded my 100+lb bags and got me to the airport in time for me to make my flight. The world needs more good people like these fine young men! Thank you again fellas!!!”

“Great service. Called and was picked up by the man and his wife in the red van. He knew the roads, and the quickest route to the destination. From Comfort Sites Dulles to the Fair Oakes Mall was $20. I told him we'd call a bit later for pickup. After we were done at the mall, I called and he arrived within 15 minutes. From there we stopped at our hotel, got our bags, then left for the airport. He gave us each a complimentary bottle of water, and carried our bags for us. If ever we return, he'll get my business.”

I arrived at the Preferred Service desk and was the only one in line, a refreshing change from the usual wait I have experienced with other car rental counters at John Wayne airport. They gave me a complimentary upgrade from a full size car to a fully loaded Nissan Armada, which is the car I am thinking of buying! The car was parked fairly far away in the lot and the manager walked out there for me and drove the car up to where I was waiting so I didn’t have to haul my luggage across the lot. Great customer service, super friendly and helpful staff. Will only be renting from Avis when I return to John Wayne airport!”

She let me check out a sedan or two and even offered me an upgrade to a large truck / SUV but due to the nature of my trip and not knowing where I'd be parking, I declined. “The Alamo desk was very near the baggage carousel and the sign-in went quickly. We walked out the nearby door, across the street and down one level to the car. The keys were waiting and we were out of the airport in less than 10 minutes from the start. No problems with the car during the week. Returning the car was faster than renting and we were at the Departure gate within a few minutes.”
