“I bought an 07 F350 6.0L from a used truck dealer in Garner, NC. The dealer did not have a diesel mechanic on site and sent the truck up the road for some needed repairs before listing for sale. They installed a new turbo and alternator and made a few other minor repairs. I took delivery of the truck knowing there was white smoke coming from the exhaust pipe but the dealer explained that was oil burning off the new turbo. After running the truck to Augusta, GA and back for an out-of-town job and driving it for about a week I lost power, lost boost, and eventually lost all the oil and coolant. Needless to say I was beside myself and thought the truck was doomed. I’m a hard-working blue-collar guy who doesn’t have a lot of money. I really believed that I got a deal on this truck but now suspected I bought somebody else’s problems. I purchased the truck ‘no warranty as is’ believing the dealer’s explanation of the smoking exhaust. So I took the truck to my local diesel professional, Morgan at Piedmont Performance Diesel & Off-road. They quickly determined that the turbo had been incorrectly installed and the EGR was bad. New turbo, new EGR, 16 quarts of oil, 7 gallons of coolant and the truck runs like a champ. Morgan explained that the truck would need a few more minor things down the road but gave the truck a clean bill of health. The truck now makes boost with zero smoke and I can pull my trailer and my tools to continue earning my living. I paid $12,850 for the truck and Piedmont performance billed me just over $2,700 for all the work. I’m ecstatic to think that I got the truck in the picture for under $16,000 in the market where I couldn’t find anything for less than $22K. With the quick turnaround time, excellent pricing, and good advice that I can trust. I now have the confidence to drive the truck every day. Morgan took what I thought was a catastrophic failure and turned it into a repair for under $3,000. I really can’t thank Piedmont Performance enough for getting me up and running in such quick time and for such a reasonable amount of money but I can tell you that the truck will never go anywhere else for work again. I found a home with Piedmont Performance Diesel an Off-road and a friend I can trust in Morgan.”

“My sister and I both have Mercedes Benzes. In September of 2019, my sister's car failed inspection due to the brakes, and she was also told she needed a new headlight. I called Global Automotive and spoke with the owner, RT Plate, who was professional and courteous. He sent me an estimate and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. My sister was pleased with the excellent service provided by Bob, who is a Mercedes Certified Mechanic. She was told she needed both front and rear brakes, but Bob said it only needed rear brakes. He also cleaned her headlight instead of replacing it. It cost her a lot less than what she had anticipated! My Benz was due for maintenance, so I called Global. Again, RT was professional and courteous, and told me I could drop my car off at my convenience. The required maintenance was performed by Bob in a timely manner. Like my sister, I was very pleased with the whole experience! Just before Christmas, I needed my tires on my Jeep inflated properly and I called Global Automotive. RT, again courteous and professional, said I could bring it in that day. While I was there, I pointed out a little scuff on the front bumper I had gotten in a parking garage, and he buffed it out for me. There was no waiting; it took less than 10 minutes, and my Jeep looks as good as new! Everyone there is professional, knowledgeable, talented, and courteous! I highly recommend Global Automotive!”
