“When I first looked up this place, I saw a lot of bad reviews and comments about John. All I can say is that he treated me with nothing but kindness, honesty, and professionalism. He even told me about an online coupon so I could get a discount on my inspection! The only negative in my whole experience was that they closed a few minutes early the day I came to pick up my vehicle, so I had to wait until the next day to get it. But that was mostly on me for showing up so close to the time they closed. Otherwise, everything was perfect! They told me that my transmission was shot, and the cost of the repair would have been more than the car was worth. They could have made some serious money off of me, but they chose honesty. A few days later, I brought a used car to them for an inspection, which helped me make the decision to purchase it. Both interactions with them were wonderful, and John took great care of me. Between both visits, I spent less than $25. I couldn't recommend them more! And I am truly thankful for the service John provided. Don't always trust what the reviews say, especially since most people who take the time to write a review are the unhappy ones, as satisfied people don't have a bone to pick. I know that it's been very hard to get parts in a timely manner, but everything was very clearly stated in all communication (including at the beginning, so I knew what we were getting ourselves into!). Twice weekly updates, and when one of our parts were going to take an extra month, we came up with a solution (and they cleared it 100% with insurance) which worked for us, with a guarantee that if we were not happy we would go back and wait for the last part to come in. The work came out beautifully, and I am very happy!!”

“Frank’s wonderful staff was able to save the day in a fast, friendly and efficient manner when no one else could! I could not find a shop that would take an emergency appointment let alone same day. I can’t tell you the sigh of relief I took when I heard “Bring it in within the hour and I’ll have a look at it”. These guys a Frank’s were amazing! I had an emergency stop the previous day when I noticed the brakes were a little squishy. I hopped out of my car to find out the passengers front side wheel was smoking and 4x hotter than any of my other tires! After asking Dr. Google what it could be I decided to wait and let it cool off since home was only 4 minutes away on a downhill. Luckily the brakes seemed to work well enough to where I could drive it to the shop with one of the best looking website in town. After waiting for parts, which luckily also came two hours earlier than quoted, I was able to make it home to San Diego same day without a worry! Thank you so much for making a stressful end, to an otherwise stress free weekend vacation in lake Isabella, a whole lot less stressful.”

“I have a 2008 Land Rover LR3, which if you are familiar with then you know it is an extremely finicky car. My air suspension was stuck in the lowest position and giving off suspension fault warning lights. Went to three different mechanics, though they tried their best, all I got was partial fixes which never really took and never properly diagnosed. One of those mechanics referred me to Larry at Pinnacle, who took on the job. Though the job took almost a month, Larry did not stop until he properly diagnosed the problem...and fixed it. Plus his office manager, Rachel, was extremely patient throughout all my calls for updates during the month. If you love your car, and want the job done right, I recommend you call Larry first.”
