“I love this store! They helped me put on my wipers I purchased when I came back. The lady manager was there by herself and said if I wanted to wait or come back someone would help. I went to Gordon’s because I had some things to get and then went back and the guy that came back from a delivery helped put my wipers on. Reading some of the reviews I was skeptical to go here but they were great! Another example of you shouldn’t believe everything you read. Customers are ignorant sometimes and I’ve seen it. They get rude and expect you to still help them. I work in customer service and that’s not how it works. You get what you put out in the universe. People should understand that. “Absolutely blown away by the service I received at pep boys…. Went to the one in hazlet years ago and it sucked. The manager was inexperienced and not a people person. (And usually if the manager sucks so does the service.) But I was desperate to get my car worked on, so I waited. The assistant service manager, Joe was honest, thorough, and straightforward. He was extremely busy and had other customers ahead of me but still managed to take his time explaining the work needed, and surprisingly I was in and out of there. I tried to tip the tech Peter who serviced my vehicle, but he declined. Was surprised someone so young was so efficient and professional. Very nice people. Would definitely go back, these guys changed my mind about pep boys. You can tell the staff really get along and everyone seemed to have a smile on their face.
