Under the directorship of an outstanding servant leader, I personally witness on an ongoing basis teachers going above and beyond the academic needs of the children...and their families. The staff (at all levels) embodies the love of Christ and takes very seriously being the hands and feet of Jesus to the children & families they serve! On any given day, it is not uncommon to find a preschool staff member laughing, crying and/or praying (even delivering a prepared meal...) with a family member walking through a season of life that requires love & support. I consider it a blessing to now have had 2 children be a part of this program and with a full heart look forward to our youngest beginning the program within the next couple of years! :)”

Our family has been here for over two years now, and we have seen the church becoming healthier and more focused. God is on the move, and I feel that this church family is ready to join Him in what He is already doing in Turlock. I am very excited to see new ministry ventures starting soon, including a college ministry. Other ministries where you can grow and serve include children's church, Sunday School for adults and students, a Wednesday night Bible study for both adults and students, a ministry to our senior saints, and an opportunity to serve every month at the Turlock Gospel Mission. One more thing that I absolutely love about Berkeley Avenue Baptist Church is that the pastor and his wife are very welcoming to families with kids that have special needs. This means the world to us, as we have a son who has some special needs. This is a great church family to join with for all of these reasons, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a congregation to call home.”
