“Ed Gordon the minister is a master of teaching the scripture, historically connecting the word of God to the everyday realities we face. I have never not known him to be right on target in the way he brings the scripture around to make us face it in truth and with wisdom. He delivers on intelligence and knowledge of the scriptures. The church is small in congregation and big at heart with friendly people and most importantly, non judging as a group. The pulpit makes all welcome and we have African Americans and Native Americans with the majority of Anglo Americans. It's a beautifully built church that reminds me of my youth and clean and happy atmosphere. It's the perfect congregation to grow with and the dress is casual to suits. It rate it Friendly and Caring. I'm giving it a 4 star because it does not have a full choir but a powerhouse music minister who keeps well selected music a part of this special and friendly service.”

“Talking to IAYAALIS was without a doubt one of the greatest experiences of my lifetime. Everything she said resonated within me. “I started going to church here just to make my mom happy. I was one of those twice a year Christians. I happily stayed here for a few reasons. 1) The Spirit of Jehovah is allowed to move freely here! They nurture your gifts and do not shut them down! 2) Pastor Kim brilliantly kept me on the hook with his sense of humor. He just gets me! 3) The atmosphere here is genuine. It's one of the only places where I've ever experienced the real Body of Christ. When you walk through those doors, you are instantly family. I'm so glad that Jesus established VCC as my home!!! If you are looking for a Spirit filled church to call home, this is an amazing place to pick! Come and see!”
