“We have been attending Timberlake Church for years and feel like it is home! We first started attending after our son began preschool there and since we have continued to grow. We did our first family mission trip, growth groups and individual groups with Timberlake and continue to grow in new ways each year. We really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, caring people and kids programs and always leave with a personal reflection to the message. This last year we began attending the Issaquah campus in the Highlands with Pastor David. David is the Pastor that inspired our family to go on a mission trip and give back through ministry and sharing with others. We were really excited to attend Issaquah campus and our kids love the location and the size of the classes and the community feel. We always feel welcomed and invited to try new opportunities through their growth groups, church activities and events. Recently we did a baptism with Pastor David at Issaquah campus which has been a really special journey for our family. The growth groups have been a positive experience and a way to deepen connections at church. We are thankful for the Timberlake staff that are friends and near and dear to our family and know that Timberlake is a wonderful place for all stages of faith to come and be welcomed in any season of life. “This is a very, very big and nice church. It's a shame you have to pass many churches to find this one! But I guess that's what we get when God gave man "the freedom of choice." If man wants to praise God somewhere else and doesn't feel comfortable in his prayer closet, his own house, yard or car then I guess the next best thing is to build his own church to be run as he, not Good, feels free to do so. (Note: All those churches out in Varina could've been built into schools for kids. This way the kids don't have to continue attending Richmond's public school system with rotting schools trying to collapse due to mildew, rotting wood walls, floors and ceilings. I bet no one thought about that idea....did they?) Sorry, got on my soapbox. Anyway, Antioch Baptist Church has been there a very long, long time and it is clean, huge and nicely decorated. I would go there again for any service.”

“Our family started going to Grace Evangelical Free Church in the late '60's. Back then it was a small church. However we watched it grow. The original building was torn down in 2000. Now there is the huge sanctuary plus a smaller sanctuary that was made into the youth group place. Back in 1991 I became the church's first full time maintenance and Janitor fellow. I worked for Grace about 21 years. I still have lots of friends that go there. God wanted me to move on. Which I did in 2012.”
