“This gas station consistently has cheaper prices for gas and diesel than competitors in the area. Likewise, it has a restaurant attached to it so you can get something to eat while you fill up or on your way somewhere. The convenience section is very plentiful as well. “Great place to grab a quick bite to eat with a lot of items being made from scratch which is a great thing to find in a small place like this. They have really reasonable prices and even have snow cones available those hot summer months here in Texas. I did try the sugar-free snow cone flavors and I was not impressed with that at all however the radio one seem to be good from the couple I have tried. The food has some really great flavor to it and you can tell that even though it comes from a small place it is a good quality. They do have the small fried items for those quick meals on the go and they have a decent selection of basic convenience store items. If you're tired of the traditional fast food places and want something fast and different I would recommend trying this place out.”

“By far the best fried chicken in St Augustine hand down. My first trip there was last Sunday. Ordered the 8 pc chicken dinner with fries and red beans and rice, comes with biscuits. Cooked fresh to order. While waiting I took time to notice how the clerk ( Sam) treated all of his customers. With a friendly smile and knew most by name. The cook (star? )did such a great job my wife had me take her to lunch there on Wednesday for chicken livers. Again, they hit a homer. Heading there again today for Sunday dinner. Do yourself a favor and check them out.”

“This particular Dollar general does not have very much to choose from, in the way of children's clothes. They DO have some socks and things like that for children and adults, but this is another one of those Dollar generals that was basically built more as a grocery store for a small town that doesn't have that option nearby. As far as essentials, they do have quite a bit. I will say they have a very large selection when it comes to snacks and things like that, so if you need to pick up some water, milk, and bread, and basically your essentials, then I would say that this is the place. It's a fast stop when you get off of work and it's relatively inexpensive compared to other places. Oh and a piece of advice ; when it comes to seasonal items, they don't hang on to those for too long. just as soon as they sat out the Autumn stuff, they were already cycling in some Christmas stuff. So in other words, if it is pool season, and you need a floaty for your child, then get it while they have it, because it will not be there for too long. That's just my general experience, with any of their locations. But I would say this is one of my favorite Dollar generals and the staff has been amazing to my daughter and I, every time that we go in there. Another great location would be the one in Williamsburg Ohio. Great staff there as well. And they have a very large children's clothing selection. But as far as the owensville location goes, hands down one of the best Dollar generals. Thanks, Tony”

“Pleasantly surprised by the car wash. There were people “prepping” the car before the wash which I did not expect. I did have a few places on my windshield after the wash but I got the cheapest wash. And if you’re paying at the pump, you buy the wash before you pump the gas. And I got ten cents per gallon off.”
