“I've had Indian food from Fort Wayne area restaurants for more than 20 years, and Bomy's is definitely worth the drive. The flavors are fresher and more prominent without being overpowering. We all enjoyed everything we had and would re-order any of it. I purchased 3 large containers of main dishes, 2 large containers of rice, a medium sized container of dessert, 2 orders of plain naan, and 2 orders of garlic naan. This fed 6 of us with plenty of leftovers. We also asked for everything to be mild since that's what most of our party preferred. Although a lot of dishes are listed as "Ready to go" I suggest you call your order in ahead. Okay, here's a run down on all that food... Chicken Makhani: This dish was new to me, so I Googled it and found it's a "butter chicken". The appearance and taste were very similar to Chicken Tikka Masala, a staple at most Indian restaurants. In one of my pictures it's the one with the creamy orange sauce. This was my favorite of everything we tried. The all white meat chicken was a little dry, as it often is anywhere, but the sauce made up for this and there was loads of chicken too. Chicken with mushroom: Loads of chicken and mushrooms, the spices are a little more prominent because this one doesn't have cream in it. The sauce was very thin, so the dish was almost a soup. It's pictured in the bowl next to the chicken makhani. Dal yellow: Dal, or lentil, dishes are very common Indian vegetarian dishes. Bomy's combined pureed and split lentils which prevented any monotony in the texture as well as a conservative hand on the spices so as to not overpower your palate. Jeera/Zeera rice: In English this is cumin rice, as there are whole cumin seeds cooked into the rice which makes it more flavorful. We ate this both on the side as well as under each of the main dishes. It's some of the longest-grain, fluffiest rice I've ever seen. Even the leftover rice didn't stick together after it had been refrigerated for a couple days. Naan: Naan is always a great accompaniment to India food and this was no exception. All the naan was flaky and tender, and the garlic naan was seasoned well but not overpowering on the garlic. Sweet gajar halwa: Although I had never heard of this, we were told it was similar to an Indian carrot cake so we took a chance. The pictures of it are also shown. There's a lot of finely grated carrots, golden rasins, and almonds on top. Like most Indian desserts it wasn't too sweet and was lightly seasoned. A welcome finish to the meal! This is pictured in the container (with sliced almonds on top) and also on the plate. I would certainly drive the extra few miles again to get the best Indian in the area!”

“The last time I was here they were well stocked, however they are forever moving things around. I can't just run in to pick up things without asking an employee to show me were it is located. I usually find everything on my list. The case prices are great, they have a new selection of seasonings,(spices from most countries) more than some of the other warehouse stores. I was looking for a Thai Curry Paste and some other Asian spices and they did not disappoint. They have a large selection of chocolates, and Felbro Syrups for beverages ( which are considered top of the line for most beverage syrups) Their carts are weird, narrow and rarely pull or push smoothly (they do not allow children in the store and you must have a sellers permit) They have restrooms in the front and back of the store, huge parking lots in the front as well as the rear of the warehouse a,d parking is free. Membership is necessary, they also sell Alcohol (one cannot purchase any wine or Alcohol without a liquor license, not even 1 bottle) Restaurant Depot is located in the rear of the store for large restaurant equipment and restaurant supplies. All credit cards are accepted. Can easily be seen from the street and is opened 7 days a week, however I suggest checking their schedule. I would recommend Jetro.”

Enough so I made a point to leave every review, I hope her attitude and candor are noticed and appreciated because she went above and beyond. I accidentally ordered the wrong item,and she Refused to allow me to just accept the sandwich and remade it for me, and was very sociable and walked me and my purchases out to my car, so I would not have to make two trips. I stopped by on leap year day 02/29/20 to purchase and validate the deal for any large pizza for $2.29 and it seems like the deal wasn't working correctly to process in the point of sale system. However, instead of turning me away like other stores did, he called his manager and then also did an override for me to get the price down to the correct amount for me. Thank you so much. “I like dollar stores but this is not really a true dollar store more a discount store. They always have unique merchandise and some great sales. Also, they stay open later than a lot of other stores so if you like to shop later it is a great place to be able to go or if you need something last minute. In addition, they are a FedEx drop off location for returns and other things like that. So you just go to one of their locations and they scan it in and your package is processed, you get a text message, simple as that. Often the only place to find items that noone else carries anymore. However, they usually become a seasonal item at family dollar and are now packaged differently than the original item you feel in love with. Ex. My favorite candy as a child was those white square nougat Brachs made. You could buy them at the grocery in the bins that you scooped yourself and bagged. Now all you ever find them is around Valentine's day and they are round and come in a bag. I want the big square pieces back, that was part of what made it so good!!! Sometimes change is not for the good (often times not). They also have a large selection of food both packaged, and in the cold section.”
