“I had the experience of checking out at CVS without a clerk at any register. Checkout machines were available as Cash Only or Credit/Debit card only. I chose the Cash, but got stumped during my process. The clerk nearby assisted me quickly, was helpful, kind and polite. This experience assured me it may be the norm as stores are not stocked with extra employees at this time. I appreciated the help of this clerk and the check out registers ran smoothly & quickly for the heavy presence of other customers. Well pleased! Clerk should be commended as he was also helping a customer on the phone with questions about mailing a package. He was kind and helpful and patient to that customer as well.”
