“Very clean Walgreens store. I'm especially impressed that disinfecting wipes were and still are, available and at the front of the store. Plus, they're never out of those disinfecting wipes, and neither Walmart or our 2 grocery stores here, keep those well-stocked for customers to use on their hands and shopping carts. Walgreens was one of the first stores to respond to the covid19 pandemic appropriately, and staff wore masks earlier than other local businesses here, did. Most of the store staff at this Walgreens, are friendly and helpful. What I'm most impressed by, is the pharmacy staff. I have several med allergies. They always make certain that anything I'm prescribed, won't cause any problems. It's amazing (in the worst way), how many ER doctors, and other pharmacies, don't pay close enough attention to med allergies! But this Walgreen's pharmacy, consistently has done so. They're also great at explaining, (in detail), any medications I haven't taken before. Also, I usually pick up my RX's at their drive-up window - but a couple of months ago, I had car problems so I couldn't get there to pick up my meds. I called them, and paid my co-pay over the phone with my debit card, and they mailed my RX to my house - at no cost to me. I couldn't be a more satisfied customer of this pharmacy - I won't get my prescriptions filled anywhere else. They're awesome!!!”

“I drove my friend to the airport at 5 am this morning. He is going to New York to run the New York City Marathon. As I dropped him off at the airport, my low pressure light came on in my truck. So I stopped at the first gas station and of course their air pressure tank was out of order. So I planned on driving past my house in Springfield to the Gate station in Brooklyn because I knew their air pump worked. As I was driving south on 95 I was relieved to see the Gate sign at Dunn ave. Sure enough, the station was there and the air pump was functioning. I was thankful there was a Gate station on the way home. I’ll be back.”

“One of the full service stations in the area and certainly one of the best. I’ve been going there for over 25 years for all my automotive needs and have never been disappointed. My most recent trip was to have prevented maintenance on my Porsche that the dealer recommended. Boone’s crew confirmed that the maintenance should be done and the completed the necessary repairs in a few hours at one third of the cost of the dealership and used the same high quality parts. This is my go to place for all my gas, service and repairs.”

“The store itself is very small, (almost quaint), and only offers basics of OTC meds,cigarettes and tobacco products, auto needs, and of course, Lotto tickets, beverages, candy and snacks--no sandwiches... However--what makes up for limited inventory is the staff. Heidi is helpful and professional as a manager (even as she struggles on one crutch!), Megan and Neal are great to the customers--always a smile, always makes a customer feel they are welcome. This little store has more repeat customer regulars than most larger gas stations because of the friendly atmosphere when you walk in! (And a note to James, who only gave this store 2 stars...there are 3 convenient trash cans just outside the entrance door--alongside the front of the building. It's not that hard to walk less than 30' to put something in their trash receptacles.)”

“Let's start with the good! They have some of the best prices for fuel anywhere in the area, the staff is always excellent to interact with, and its a very clean and well maintained facility in a convenient location. Its definitely my go-to station. The only complaint I really have is they are not a 24 hour station, and they lock the pumps at night. That's not going to be an issue for most, but im usually working until midnight so when I'm on my way home and low on fuel, It forces me to go elsewhere.”
