Anyone considering full mouth reconstruction with dental implants MUST READ THIS REVIEW. You'll be so happy that you did! I am 53 years old, and my teeth began failing approximately 10 years ago due to genetic reasons. Around 2 years ago, I began to experience terrible infections and abcesses on a monthly basis. I consulted with multiple Sacramento area dentists and was always "dismissed" with a prescription for antibiotics and an indifferent manner with no direction about what my options for treatment might be. I could not find a dentist willing to take on such a complex case as mine, and even referrals provided were of no help in finding a permanent and solid plan of treatment for this excruciating and debilitating pain. The state of my teeth and what I could do was all-consuming and completely distressful not to mention costly. I was a regular visitor to the ER where I would have to stay the night on IV antibiotics and pain medicine because the infections were so severe. My teeth were in such terrible shape, I even stopped attending social events and felt bound to my house from both pain and embarrassment. Dental pain is unbearable and affects every aspect of one's quality of life. In April of 2022, I was at the very end of my rope when I consulted with Dr. Towfighi and that is the day my life changed. Dr. Towfighi was by far the kindest, most gracious, deeply empathetic dental professional I've ever encountered. He's a Periodontist but also specializes in dental implants, which is why I consulted with him. He immediately set up a game plan, beginning with the immediate removal of 4 terribly infected teeth which brought instant relief. I've had numerous nightmare experiences with dentistry and I was shocked to have absolutely zero bruising and very, very minimal swelling despite a history of having an extremely difficult time with previous extractions. In October, he extracted most of my top teeth and placed implants at the same time and once again, the bruising and swelling was minimal and the recovery time was by far much easier than any other previous extractions I've had done in the past. I was back at work in just 5 days- no idea how he does it but I'm so, so grateful. Dr. Towfighi also has an absolutely amazing staff! Highly professional, genuinely kind and obviously the very best at what they do. Dr. Towfighi's bedside manner (as well as that of Curtis-the assistant who helped him) is just wonderful and they both immediately put me at ease. Curtis even held my jaw open for me - 4 hours is a long time to hold one's mouth wide open and the recognition that I was becoming uncomfortable showed his own empathy and consideration for a patient's comfort! Dr. Towfighi even offers sedation medication to take prior to the appointment which made the surgery painless and anxiety free despite being in the chair for nearly 4 hours. He explained in great detail what he would be doing, and I never felt the need to question him. Simply wonderful, and the quality of his work is just amazing. I'm halfway there now and every single day I am just beyond grateful to have found Dr. Towfighi and Capitol Periodontal. You will not find a better implant specialist, and I have no doubt that his periodontal work is just as exceptional. Thank you so much Dr. Towfighi, you've changed my life.”

“I was only able to stop by here twice this year because I had to move. But those two times I did visit I had a great experience. Connie was always super nice and welcoming. She was able to explain my bill and procedure clearly. She was open to questions I had and never made me feel uncomfortable. The receptionist, who I am so sorry! I forgot her name omg she was so sweet. From the first time I spoke to her over the phone to make an appointment. She was very patient and always had a smile when I came to the office. I still remember asking if I could bring my baby with me because I had no one to leave her with. She assured me that it was okay to bring her and that during my x-rays they could have some one take care of her so that I can take care of my health. Omg how nice of them!! Not all clinics or receptionist would say that. The staff will make you feel like you are family, which is what mostly everyone would like to have. Anyway, I totally recommend this dentist clinic. I hope to find a clinic again just like this one near me! Last thing I would like to mention is that, before I left CA, I got a letter from them which shows how lovely they are (the letter is in the pictures btw.) I hope this review help you stop by.
