“For the last 8 years or so our home had needed to be painted. The paint was falling off and the wood was rotting underneath. I frankly had gotten too busy, too lazy, and then too old and tired to deal with it. It was a problem too big for me to handle now. And my wife didn’t want me up on that ladder. I contacted a painter, and after he came out he let me know the wood work would need to be completed first. He gave me several names to contact, and I settled on Hammer Time Handyman Services. I called Mark Dahlgren, who came out with a crew and did a thorough professional job of replacing only what needed to be replaced. They were always on time, did a thorough and quick job, were courteous and affordable. I was most impressed with the quality of their work and will be sure to use them again. Here is a picture of the work after they were done, before the painting. As you can probably tell, there was a lot to repair and they kept me informed with each stage of the work. Now that the repair and painting is done, we essentially have a new home, at least on the outside.”

Prov Elec was our second call when we came home to 80% power outage. The first electrician said we had three choices ..1st 6k, 2nd 1.2k and 3rd temp fix for 450. Thomas came the next day. He looked at breaker panel and then the outside meter. He showed me where the 240 side of the meter had died and was a Duke Energy fix at no cost. He called Duke with me...who guaranteed they would be there that night. I paid Thomas the nominal service fee and 3 hours later Duke came to my home and full electricity was restored.”

“I had a very expensive Hunter fan stop working on us. Jose came quickly, figured out what the problem was in about 20 minutes and had it fixed in another 15. This is a $450 ceiling fan that I was going to have to replace with a cheaper one. It was obvious Jose has done this a million times. He was fluid as he went from step to step, diagnosing and then fixing. That's the value of skilled craftsmen: they pretty much know what could be wrong and they know how to tell which problem it is very quickly. There was no scratching of the head, let's try this and see type of work. He just nailed it. Very worth the money and time to have him come over to fix or install things. He was also very cordial and honest. I will not be calling anyone else for any electrical work while I'm in the valley.”
