“There's a museum inside, so when the firefighters open up the garage door you can go in and look at a bunch of items and pictures showcasing the history of the Newport Beach Fire Department. There is also a fully restored American LaFrance Fire Engine from the early 1900s, which is cool to look at. It's definitely one of the cooler things on the island if you are being a tourist for the day.”

“Rescue Truck #40 Crew (Windsor Fire Dept) was returning from an overturned tractor trailer scene on Friday evening, 17 Sep 21. They stopped to offer assistance while I was pulling my wife's van after she accidentally backed it into the ditch trying to turn around. My wife and I greatly appreciate their kindness and assistance. They could have just driven on by to return to the station but went out of their way to assist us instead. We wanted to thank the entire crew for their help.”

“Small but amazing! This is a great museum for anyone interested in city history or firefighter information. Located on the ground floor, easy access, full of rich historical information about city fires and the firefighters of Denton. There was also a portion dedicated to the NYFD and 9/11.”

“I love our firemen and paramedics. They literally saved my life once after I suffered a fall and brain bleed. They are always professional and understanding. I have always been taken seriously, even when I doubted having called. When they were dispatched here the day my mother passed away, they couldn’t have been kinder, one paramedic getting down on a knee as I sat stunned and offering condolences on behalf of the department . For that I will be eternally grateful.”

“We rented the Grand Horizon Room in the South Fayette fire hall for our wedding last week, and it was done beautifully! The Grand Horizon Room has the same menu and pricing as the Fairview Sunset Room, which was quite reasonable for our 170 guests. The food was excellent, too! I would have eaten more stuffed ricotta shells if I didn't have guests to greet. Michael helped us through every step of the hall planning, and was very flexible and accommodating. He let us have the hall for the whole weekend, so even though we rented the hall for Saturday, we were allowed to be there with his crew on Friday to set up our centerpieces. They even let us have our rehearsal dinner there on Friday, and let us use the ovens to keep our food warm while we were rehearsing. Michael even insisted on setting up tablecloths and long tables for our rehearsal dinner, which gave our meal an elegant touch. We had originally proposed using one of the pavilions behind the fire hall for our ceremony, and having the reception inside in their ballroom, so Michael let us come to the fire hall and plan the decorating and procession any time we wanted. His crew helped me and my mom set up chairs under the pavilion as a test run to see how many chairs could fit underneath, and would have moved them all to the pavilion and back to the reception hall on the wedding day. Fortunately, he had a back up plan if it rained (and it did), so we had the ceremony inside. It was beautiful anyway, and we instead got to use the pavilion outside for our wedding pictures, umbrellas and all. His crew was so pleasant to work with, too! They were so sweet, and complimented and congratulated us so much as they were setting up tables on Friday. Overall, it was a fun and stress-free wedding day because we knew the catering was in good hands.”
