“Do not go anywhere else for funeral services. We used them for my mother's funeral. John was amazing. He is genuine, caring, and an amazing communicator. As an example: I am in the military and had a tight timeline to return to my duty station. I wanted to receive my mother's ashes before I had to return which was going to be difficult to do because of the permits required to do a cremation. John went to the county office and told them he was not leaving until he got the permit because of our situation. Everyone in my family was so grateful for Newcomers and a few of them are even arranging meetings with John to prepay for their services because they want to make sure that Newcomers is the business that cares for them when they pass. They are also extremely reasonably priced. Losing a loved one is hard, but Newcomers made the process as easy as they could.”

While multiple employees began clearing debris and applying first aid, the surprised customers in the demolished Honda Civic had already received their drinks before the airbags were triggered. “Stumpff Funeral Home handled my father's burial & memorial service in August 2021. Since my father had pre-arranged his burial the process was very smooth for our family. We didn't feel pressured to change anything he had prepaid in order to increase the cost to us. Lindsey was very kind and considerate and I feel she and the rest of the staff that was involved with the service were very professional and helpful. “One of the most beautiful and well-kept cemeteries I've ever stepped foot in. A number of famous people rest here for eternity, including Miles Davis (who has the largest headstone I've ever seen), Dorothy Parker, Herman Melville, Irving Berlin, and Bat Masterson. We walked through and found everyone we wanted to see to pay our respects. People do need to slow down driving through here as it is a place of reverence. We literally saw a car going too fast, hit either a pylon or gravestone, back out quickly, and kept driving. Be sensible! These are peoples' loved ones!”

“Bedford Funeral Chapel is by far the best place for families at their most difficult times. Everyone is genuine, caring and sympathetic when you feel like your world is ending. They work with you if at the time you can not afford the cost, just tell them up front. Almost everyone in my family has been cared for by Bedford and I wouldn't change to any other establishment. Years ago when my grandmother died in Florida, my mom called on sunday to try to figure out which was going to be better,the HUGE cost that my uncle told down there for her service or to bring her back here. They made the calls and helped us come up with a game plan of a small service down there and a service up here that was a fraction of the cost. My husband died on 12-1-2020 at Cleveland Clinic and had absolutely no problem about driving there in the snow to bring my husband back for his cremation.”

“After losing my father in 2016 my mother went to join him in Heaven in May of 2021. Brown's handled both of these tremendous losses for my family with such professionalism and respect that it allowed our family to focus on grieving and celebrating each of their lives. I don't give a lot of reviews but now that my family has trusted Brown's Memorial with such important stages of life's most difficult times I feel I must share our experiences with anyone and everyone that may have a need for any of the services they offer. My mother's biggest wish was to pass at home as oppose to a hospital or nursing home and she got just that. She passed away at her home with family by her side. Although I can't say it was easy to be present for that experience, I can say that I wouldn't change a thing because she got to leave this life exactly how she desired. Within minutes we were blessed to have Jonathan from Brown's Memorial show up with compassion and patience to begin the process of having her legacy and life peacefully laid to rest. The entire staff, especially Jonathan far exceeded all expectations of this process making it as easy as possible. He even helped us save money while providing a priceless process. From slowly driving her away in their beautiful, shiny black vehicle, to the final burial, they treated her just as one would expect for a queen. Obviously I'm grateful for having Brown's there when we needed them!”
