“Lakeview handled my grandparents cremation and funeral arrangements in 2011 and 2016. We loved the beautiful space and the caring staff. Recently we lost our daughter prior to birth and I knew I wanted to have Lakeview handle her arrangements. Our daughter was born at night and they were able to pick her up from me late that evening/early morning. That was wonderful because I just couldn't leave her at the hospital. The next day we went and met with them to handle the arrangements and everybody was so kind and really made us feel comfortable. This was definitely the hardest thing I've ever been through yet they were able to somehow make things much easier on us. It felt reassuring knowing that such good people were caring for our daughter. They did everything for us free of charge and even offered us a loner urn until the one we ordered for her comes in. They offer a beautiful selection of remembrance jewelry and I plan to purchase a necklace to put some of my daughter's ashes in so part of her will always be with me. “Our family is so grateful that we had Alexander Thomas and Sons Funeral Home in Walpole for the wake and funeral of my beloved grandfather. They were very accessible leading up to and after the services - they always returned phone calls quickly and answered questions thoroughly and accurately. All parties involved were so kind, caring, and helpful, and it made a very difficult time into a bearable one. All the staff were very attentive to our needs and made it a smooth and seamless process. The funeral home itself is very comfortable, well-maintained, and intimate, with plenty of seating room. Photos and flowers were beautifully displayed, and they accommodated all personal mementos that we requested to have displayed as well. They had military service casket back-drops available, which . Transition from the funeral home to the cemetery was very smooth - Alex and his sons did a great job with that. At no point did my family ever feel rushed in our decisions, and we were allowed as much time as a needed to grieve at the funeral home. We cannot say enough about how accommodating they were from start to finish. Our family would highly recommend this funeral home. They did a phenomenal job. Thank you so much. (My father and family have used the Carroll Thomas Funeral Home in Hyde Park in the past; we chose the Walpole location as it was closer to where we live. “We lost my mom suddenly in October of last year and our family was recommended to Baldauff Family Funeral Home from friend whose family had previously used their services for a loved one who passed. From the moment Kevin arrived to retrieve my mother he was kind, respectful, and professional. As anyone can imagine it is such an emotional and difficult time and there were so many decisions to make. Kevin helped us through the entire process and had numerous options and vendors we could choose from. Even when we had awkward questions and special requests, he handled us as though we were family and put our worries to rest. Also when we had an issue with how something turned out he and his team immediately went to work to fix it.
