“As hard as it is looking for a mortuary to help lay your loved one in their final resting place Christian from Emerson-Bartlett Mortuary was honestly one of the best people that I have met. 2023 really hit our family hard this year losing so many close to us. I dealt with other Mortuaries this year, and after unexpectedly losing my father in November, we decided to look at other places. We were referred to Christian and what a true blessing he was. He made my sisters and I feel like family, feel comfortable and he gave us peace. “Phillips and Meyers Funeral Home in Brookville, Indiana is where we had my paternal Grandpa and paternal Grandma, my aunt, and most recently my Mom’s funeral. Fritz Reisert, the funeral home director, has always been helpful and very caring and compassionate about helping the families through a very difficult time. Anything you need, he will help get it done. My Grandma had broken her glasses before she passed but she didn’t look right without her glasses. I was going to try to find a pair of reading glasses that looked similar and purchase them. Fritz brought out a basket of all different kinds of glasses and right on top was a pair like she had in the past. It worked perfect and it was the finishing touch. My Mom was very thin when she passed and her cheeks were sunken in. We were only having a graveside service with family per her wishes, but Fritz really did a great job filling in her cheeks so she looked like she did before she got sick. It is the extra little, caring things that make the family get through this difficult time easier and that is because of Fritz Reisert and Phillips and Meyers Funeral Home!!! We won’t go anywhere else for our funeral needs.”
