“I had to run into Walmart yesterday to fix an honest grocery pickup mistake. Never in my life have I seen such great customer care or been taken such great care of myself. Upon arriving to customer service, I witnessed Marie ( she appeared to be customer service manager or maybe just a manager, im not sure) go out of her way to take care of the needs of an elderly women, she kindly asked the other guests if they would allow the elderly woman to go first ( this woman was struggling to stand). The other guest were kind enough to let the lady go ahead of them. The manager then contacted another employee to grab a gentleman that worked there to help the elderly lady get to her car and load it. The manager also helped another lady in the line who was elderly take care of her needs timely and efficiently. I’ve never seen a team work so well together and this manager was the glue. Marie was encouraging and respectful to everyone especially her employees, the other employees were happy to pull together and keep everything running smooth. Marie also greeted everything with a smiling face and was attentive to what they were saying. Customer service was super busy that day but wait time was not long for anyone. I was helped quickly and then the lady in charge of grocery pickup , Abrianna (I probably miss spelt that) was quick to come help me. She graciously walked with me to grab the items I needed, bagged them, and walked me out so that I would have no trouble. She also told me if I ever had items missing from my pickup order to simply call and they would bring the items to my car. I was so impressed with the customer care from everyone. Especially these two ladies. I hope this review gets to the big bosses because these ladies and Walmart team are doing an excellent job. Seriously best experience I’ve ever had in a store.”

“We had ~1,600 sq.ft. of carpet installed in our newly-purchased home prior to moving in. We ultimately decided to go with Hopkins Carpet One, a more local company, rather than a big box store like Home Depot. The entire experience was disappointing. The preliminary sales process went fine, but when it came to scheduling/installation there was serious disorganization and confusion about timelines, which was surprising since we'd scheduled installation months in advance and were extremely forthright about our needs (our home was being painted, so we needed to accommodate painters prior to installing new carpet). This was frustrating, but we eventually got everything worked out without too much of a headache. After two months (installation July 2022), we're happy overall with the low-pile carpet we selected. However, the quality of the installation is really, really disappointing in places. An entire staircase was skipped during the installation and necessitated a separate crew coming out a week later to finish the job. Tack-strips/adhesive is already failing around a couple floor HVAC registers and there was a closet entryway where tack-strip was flat-out missing (which the second crew was thankfully able to correct). A couple hatchet-job cuts along baseboard with almost laughable attempt to correct the mistakes. There are sections of bedroom where the carpet is nearly 1/4" short of meeting the baseboard. Cuts along stair tread/skirt boards are inconsistent; some are great, others…pretty average. Understand low-pile carpet is less forgiving, but we did expect more. This wasn't exactly cheap. I've attached a couple pictures for reference. UPDATE: the company’s quality control person did contact us promptly after leaving this review. They stopped by our home to inspect the installation and agreed there were deficiencies (in addition to ones not highlighted within the pictures) and were very apologetic about the quality. A new install crew came by a couple weeks later and fixed several areas. The result is much better. Review increased from 2 stars to 4 stars accordingly. My only gripe is that no one bothered to tell us when the crew was coming to make the fixes. They just showed up at our door one morning. Thankfully we were home.”

My most recent online search for a specific sliding closet door wheel replacement showed one item that matched what I needed. Photos show the old unit with cracked wheel. Luckily this location had 9 units in stock so I noted the Aisle and Bay numbers for easy in store shopping. They were in the correct spot and I had no problems at the quick self checkout. Not confident at first about the quality of the plastic wheel replacement based on the negative reviews, I was relieved and very happy that my new replacements are quiet and roll very smoothly. The plastic wheels may not last forever but they should be good for awhile.”

“I absolutely love this Home Depot ... I just moved from my beloved Colonial Williamsburg to Gloucester and just getting acquainted to all the stores on this side of the river ... I find their prices affordable and compatible to other similar stores ... Right now a lot of their Garden center plants are on sale ... Sis and I bought a very nice stainless steel kitchen work table and it was delivered yesterday Fed X ... I toured their Garden Center and am so pleased at all they have and not bad prices ... Can't wait until Spring because there will be so much more ... I am going to be 71 and my twin sis too on the 20th and I am old and gray ... but I had 4 young men that work at Home Depot ask me if I needed any help ... They were polite and courteous ... I was there right at opening so maybe I just got lu KY ... Most workers wear masks but there are no mask requirements to enter store nor are there anyone wiping shopping carts ... I do see hand sanitizer in main store ... I for one wish ALL stores still pursued safety first ... Any hoot ... It's a HUGE parking lot and 2 entrances ... 3 if you count the Garden Center when they are open ... It's a great location ... A bit tricky getting into their parking lot ... You enter the intersection where Chicken Filet is and turn just past Chicken Filet ... Drive straight until you get to the very last parking lot on you left and Home Depot being the LAST store on your left ... The several times I have been in there I have always been able to find a very helpful worker and they have even taken us right to what we were looking for ...
