“We had Furniture Medic refinish two end tables. The tables were very old and the heavy clear coat had yellowed and was chipping off even exposing the wood in several places. Since the pieces were still very solid in construction we wanted to have them re done. From the very beginning the staff was professional and easy to deal with. They came and picked up the pieces and then delivered them once complete, making the entire process very easy on us. We provided a coffee table for them to match the end tables to. When all the pieces came back we were surprised to see a white spot had been cleaned from the coffee table that we had thought was unable to be removed and this was not the table we were having re finished. Those tables looked better than they ever had since we had them. We did not think our two ends tables could look as good as they do now. I went to the store yesterday, during the holiday season, to find some Christmas lights that my mother had just bought that she was raving about. The employee working had remembered my mother and what she bought and helped me find exactly what I needed. Another man came to check me out and they were both so happy to help me and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. Good customer service always leaves me with a smile. “Wow, where do I start? I recently purchased my home on 10/5/20. The house was a beautiful design built by Darling Homes with dark hand scraped, hardwood floors. When I took a tour during my house search, I noticed that the spare bedrooms had carpet. I immediately wanted to pull that up to match the rest of the house. I asked the seller if Darling could do it; she said that there was a better resource...Good Guys Flooring. I never heard of the company, so I was skeptical. The seller introduced me to Joey Sims. I'm in IT, so I understand the importance of delivering a positive experience. Joey nailed it!! Very professional, educated me on the process, introduced me to the team and followed up at a CEO level. I thought he owned the company. The results were amazing and a spot on match of the Darling floors (maybe better). I was actually "floored"...no pun intended. I believe I have found a service provider in good guys on other potential projects. Additionally, you will come highly recommended to my peers and friends. “We purchased an oversized chair from Lazy Boy in 2009. It was our first big purchase as a married couple! It has seen us through 12 years of marriage, two very active and fun boys, and two dogs. The only reason we were looking to make a new purchase is because the space we now have does not work with our furniture. That being said, we knew when it was time to get new furniture, we would go with Lazy Boy. It has lasted us so long and is so comfortable, sturdy, and well made. The customer service at the Union City store was stellar. The manager spoke with me on the phone to get a better idea of what we were looking for and our budget. She then proceeded to set up an appointment for us to come in to meet with her and see the products she came up with for us. She was so accommodating and made sure to communicate with us as she was helping other customers throughout the store. The staff all wore masks and followed social distancing . Only 25 people were allowed in the showroom at one time and everyone was spaced apart. I felt very comfortable , safe, and excited to be able to shop even given all the restrictions of COVID. I was very impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff there.We did make a purchase. It was the very last choice that was something we had not even considered ( reclining sofa set) !! We cannot wait to get it! It was a hot buy so, a super affordable price , which included delivery as well as hauling away of our old furniture. I highly recommend Lazy Boy and the Union City store to anyone considering high quality , comfort, and affordable furniture. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this review.
