They are extremely knowledgeable and are constantly educating themselves to stay ahead and bring new training techniques to the clients to keep things fresh, fun and effective. They are accommodating to every level of fitness and every stage (and age) of life. I personally was a college athlete and have trained this way my entire life and continue to even now after having 2 babies. Justin started training me when my first son was 7 months old, through my second pregnancy, and postpartum as well. He knew exactly how to modify exercises based on where I was at physically to help me stay in shape during pregnancy, how to slowly and safely ease me back into working out postpartum, and how to push me to achieve my goals of getting back to prepregnancy shape. On days where I was unable to get a babysitter they allowed my sons to be in a stroller with me while I worked out so that I could still get my training in (huge Mommy win that also left me with no excuses to skip sessions). When my family came to visit, my parents both came to workout with me (they are both 58 years old) and they loved every second of it even though we were exhausted afterwards! The environment at PACE is always inviting, full of great music that motivates you to push through your workouts, and leaves you feeling accomplished, even after a hard day! “Jeremy is the best. As a physiologist he is trained to use the latest testing equipment that previously was available only to Olympic athletes. Now the newest technology is available to the general public . Starting with your Body Composition Analysis you will see a statistical analysis of your body strengths and weaknesses. There is a VO2 max test on a treadmill with a heart monitor and a breathing mask that will collect data to be analyzed. I had heart surgery, gone through cardiac rehab, and was hoping to increase my activities and improve fitness. After my data was collected, Jeremy went over the numbers, discussed long term goals, and designed the interval training in the heart rate zones for me to see measurable improvement over the next few months. He also designed training with bands and weights to improve strength in the areas that the data showed muscle weaknesses. Jeremy's skills can benefit anyone who wants to improve athletic performance in sports, or anyone, any age, who wants to improve their overall health and fitness. The lawn was the perfect spot for our ceremony, and we held our reception inside- the room is large enough for a big event, and felt very comfortable for our smaller wedding with 40 guests. “I've been working out at CrossFit Thunderhead for a month now and absolutely love it!! If you're looking for a CrossFit gym in the area, look no further. Zack, the owner is super attentive. He's very mindful of each athletes progress, injuries, etc. Every workout is well planned, organized and clearly explained. Even the warmups are clear and well planned. The gym has a great community of people that energize, support and cheer each other on. I honestly can't imagine doing CrossFit without the support of others. If you're new to CrossFit I highly recommend taking the fundamentals classes. They are a great introduction to the moves you'll need to do during workouts, they give you a rough idea of what a workout generally will be like and they are a great barometer for you and the coaches to figure where you're starting your CrossFit journey at. I'm really glad I took the fundamentals classes. It might be confident to jump into workouts and like I wasn't alone in the journey. As a whole, the coaches are great at helping you modify a workout if you need it and helping you adjust weight, reps, etc. mid-workout so that you get the most out of every workout. I've already seen progress in just 5 weeks and can't wait to see more progress in the future. I'm very grateful I found this gym and community of people.
