From the very 1st instance of walking into the doorway, we were greeted with a happy smile, and Angie (The Assistant Mgr) held the door open so that Mama could get in with her Imperial walker!! I had called ahead to Maria, who answered the phone to setup the appointment in advance. She was very helpful and kind. Angie escorted us over to meet Rebecca the Hair Stylist, and she did not disappoint.She assisted with guiding Mama to the wash chair and then continued to make connections with My Mama. They both talked about her favorite color (Purple) and I said 💜 that whe could color her hair next time to Purple! They both laughed 😅 🤣 Everyone was Super attentive and easy-going with My Mama!! They made accommodations for her and treated her with extra kindness since it was her 1st getting hair done since moving from Chicago. She was extremely excited and happy to be the center of attention!! Angie,Rebecca and then Judith (The Store Mgr) came over to chime in and spoke Spanish to her! And that's all it took to seal the deal!! Mama was completely at ease and relaxed to be a Woman with these Wonderful Ladies. Kudos to the Entire Staff for making this such an enjoyable experience!! Not only is this place extremely useful and convenient, but also really engaging plus Professional!! They Treated Mama like Familia 👍 👌 and they gave her a kiss n hug upon departure!! We will definitely be coming back for more excellent services. I'm bald myself so I don't need much of anything. But Mama is definitely coming back now that she found this 💎 gem of a place!! “Sass is amazing! Best hair experiences I've ever had. I go to Sass for several reasons. 1) She knows how to cut and style curly hair. 2) Her prices are very reasonable. 3) She does amazing vivid colors. But most importantly 4) She really cares about her clients and takes the time to really focus on what her clients want. That was the short version for people not interested in reading a ton. But I'm going to go into more depth for those who want more detail. Either way check out her instagram, cause the hair is amazing! 1) It is surprisingly difficult to find someone who can cut and style curly hair (especially someone who does vivid colors and can manage curly hair). I've known a lot about styling curly hair in the past, but she has taught me quite a few new skills. She also recommends products and will not try to sell you the most expensive product in the salon, but pays attention to your financial limitations and what your hair actually needs. 2) For all the time and effort she puts into each client, her prices are incredible reasonable. I've gone to other people and asked them to do less on my hair, and they've charged me far more. If you go in and ask for a cut, bleach, and vivid color it's not going to be the cheapest thing you are paying for, but it is so much better than any other quotes I've gotten AND she spends more time making sure I get exactly what I want which is something these other people have never done. 3) I've recently become obsessed with dying my hair with vivid colors. Each time I ask for something Sass tells me exactly what she needs to do to get that color. She also remembers the colors she's done on me before and adjusts the color for the next time so it's something new and different! 4) The part I really care about is how much time and effort she puts into my hair every time I go in. She does not take shortcuts for the sake of time and makes sure she is giving you exactly what you asked for and what she promises. I also am not one to love chatting with a hairstylist, but I always enjoy my chats with Sass. Sitting in her chair (even for hours with the cutting, and bleaching, and color, and styling) I am neither bored nor pressured to feel like I have to carry on a conversation when I don't want to. Basically, Sass is the best hairstylist I've ever gone to and I don't know why you are still reading this and haven't already contacted her to schedule an appointment. She also does men's hair too! She really has an incredible range of skills and is just amazing.”
