“Gordon from Lumber Dept is the best salesperson to ask for assistance. He was helping me to find Instant Waterproof Repair Tape, which was absent from its place on the shelf. GORDON checked every box from the ground level to the ceiling in aisle 17 and find it inside the closed box on upper shelf. He brought the heavy metal ladder from the opposite side of the store and machine to get unopened bunch of boxes from the top shelf. He spend tremendous amount of time helping me to find that repair tape. Gordon is very good worker and very well natured person. In other words – he is the one great professional, which makes you want to come to Home Depot of that location every time you need something. Thank you, Gordon!!!”

“I love this location! I have a tractor supply near me in Denver NC but I grocery shop in Mooresville once a week and recently put this store on my permanent visit list! “Looking for seats for faucet for old crawfoot bathtub. They had them. The lady that helped me knew what I needed and was most helpful and the time she took with me. I ask if I needed to put any sort of lubes on fittings? She took me a to a very helpful man. He took the time draw a scratch and explain to me what kept happening. So surprized I'm so satisfied. Then I left my c card on counter ......l had already left and discovered I had lost it. So I back tracked where I had been. Lake hardware was the last place. The kind young man had found it and put it in his register. By the time I got back to find out if my c card was there they were closed.! Then there was movement by front door and thank goodness 2 men were closing up . I ask if they had found a c card? I figured I'd have to come back the next day to get it if they had it! By now I'm panicking, know I wouldnt sleep a wink that night. BUT The two men said yes we have it and let me in and handed it to me!!!! I had tears rolling down from relief and mainly The Wonderful Experience I Had Friday with Lake Hardware Employees. Thank you all very much. Order online pick up/return to store is available too to save the hassle. Not too many staff available on the floor to answer questions, but when you find one, they are a great help. “Absolutely as good as it gets. None better than the Klinger Family! And the prices are insanely LOW especially considering the top quality of the oak, pine, and fur boards I found. Diane, the lady who was at the office when I visited, was very friendly and helped me with everything. She knew exactly where to look for everything and even knew the prices as she showed me around. I live locally and have been slowly restoring various sections of our mid-1930s Revival Cape Cod, 90% of which is original. I needed some old school (pine and fur) lumber that I could plane and sand and still be able to have TRUE 2X4, 2X10, 2X12 and a 2X16 finished boards. I was glad enough when I found several stacks of 2-1/2" X 14" wide board that I could make my 2X12s from, but when I found a those two 2-1/2" thick X 17" wide boards (nearly 12 feet long each!) with only a few end and edge splits buried deep in a pile I was blown away! That gave me the 2X16 sections I needed for the porch benches! I was set! Without exception, all of the boards I bought were very straight with only minor warping and no twists. All were stored flat and sheltered at the mill. I am about to start restoring the original porch on the side of our home and will be headed back up the road to Klinger's!”
