“All star speech is a God send. As a teacher of 16 years who worked with children with special needs, and a parent of children with speech delays, apraxia of speech and auditory processing disorder, I can tell you that All Star Speech is by far the most child centered, effective and nurturing environment I could have ever asked for. They understand the behavioral challenges of children who have struggled with speech and other delays and they are well prepared to handle whatever comes their way. They treat my children with kindness and understanding all while challenging them, facilitating growth and pushing them towards progress. Vicky has the patience and calmness of a saint, Melissa does a great job helping parents understand what they can do to help their children and Liz has a way of helping kids without them even realizing that that’s what she is doing. The growth I have seen in my two children is nothing short of astonishing. My previously non-verbal child LOVES going to speech and practicing new sounds and “playing” games, all the while he is making progress towards being verbal. He had some serious behavioral challenges when we first came a year and a half ago, and his speech therapist never gave up on him. She worked through the problems with him and consulted with his occupational therapist who also works onsite, and now my son happily goes to speech every week. As a parent, I can tell you that I know my children are safe and actively learning while they are at All Star Speech. I am so thankful to have found them because without them I highly doubt my children would have made such progress. If you are looking for a place that will truly help your child, I highly suggest looking into All Star Speech. If you are looking for an occupational therapist Desire who runs Wonder Kids at the same location, is one of a kind. She took my son on and has worked to help him start writing and so much more. He went from nothing but scribbles to being able to write most of his alphabet, sorting like a pro and most importantly she works with him on his sensory regulation. He went from not being able to sit and focus for more than 2 minutes to being able to sit and focus for periods of time up to 30 minutes! She has even helped me learn ways to help him, help himself and I’m an ESE teacher! She is simply the most amazing occupational therapist I have ever seen. She does not shy away from a challenge and I can tell you that when I first brought my son to her, it was truly a challenge. She has done an amazing job. My only regret is that I didn’t take him to her sooner. I even recommended her to my neighbors who have since started bringing their daughter to her and the growth is amazing! Long story short, if you have child who needs speech and/or OT, this is the place you want to take them. The collaborative efforts of both speech and OT have been a game changer for my son and the changes I see in him are nothing short of a miracle.”

The first visit was for horrible bursitis in my hip that nothing would help - and I wanted to run my first half marathon. I worked with Jonathan and his team to get me going and they cured me! After a solid 2-3 months here - I left able to run long training runs with no pain and some at home exercises to keep me going. A year later - a bad sprained ankle from rec volleyball brought me back, a year later, a sprain of the other ankle from volleyball. Each time, they are easy to work with, easy to schedule with, open super early so you can stop in before or after work - and provided great care and solved my issue! I'm a firm believer in physical therapy now!”
