Altercare Post-Acute Rehabilitation Center is rated 5 stars among all nursing homes in the Nation! The credentials and accomplishments needed to receive this National 5 star rating was evident to us while our 94 year old dad was there for his Rehab stay. We are extremely happy with our choice. This facility is exemplary and top notch in providing support, personalized care and positive interactions in all areas including the Executive Director, Physicians, Medical Records, Director of Nursing, Social Worker, Wound Care, Nurses, Aides, Rehab Therapy, Dietician, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Activities. Also, the minute we enter the front doors of this facility to visit we are welcomed with receptionists who are friendly and kind. The entire staff on all daily and weekend shifts are all 5 stars! There is not one staff member in any area of this facility that doesn’t offer the best quality care. All are skilled and knowledgeable in their area of support and expertise, easily approachable, kind, pleasant, caring, responsive to all needs and offer great communication with family. They have all exceeded our expectations. Our 94 year old dad was always provided with the highest level of care in the areas of daily skilled medical attention, assistance with personal care, getting in and out of bed, wound care and rehab services. Also, the coordination and transportation efforts for going to outpatient appointments was outstanding. This facility is clean and we feel our dad had a low risk of getting an infection in this facility. Our dad has been in other rehab nursing home facilities and there is no comparison. Altercare Post-Acute offers impeccable services and we also rate them 5 stars.”

“Just moved right down the street and tried this place out because it’s so convenient that it’s super close. My husband was the first to try it out, went to Chelsea and she did great! So later on that day we brought our kids and she did amazing! We found us a new barber that’s super close! Haven’t tried the other barbers but from watching them while they were cutting my kids hair, they looked like they were good as well. Definitely coming back!”

“I would love to give this place 5 stars but due to a recent change in staffing I had to remove one. When I first started seeing Dr. Basil my experience was pleasurable and personal. He and the original receptionist Keisha were so nice, easy to talk to, addressed my concerns immediately, and made what is typically an uncomfortable situation very comforting. Keisha (the original receptionist) was very professional, had a pleasurable attitude, and very welcoming as the first point of contact via the phone and office. She completely all my request in a timely manner. Dr. Basil is easy to talk to and very interested in all aspect of your life so he is able to treat you accordingly. However, my last 2 visits I dealt with a new receptionist who on the first visit barely acknowledged me entering the office, had trouble with taking payments so a line was backed up. Good thing I had cash. The second time when it was time for me to leave she was not at the desk to check me out and when she returned she told me she was sorry fo the wait but she had to touch up her make up and the bathroom is so small imthat it makes it difficult for her. Like what?? You are at work and even if that is what you were doing you don’t tell that to the patient. I did not feel comfortable with her completing some documents I had to be completed. She does not make me feel like she knows what she is doing and she definitely lacks people skills which is a key factor when working in a clinical office setting.”
