“My husband and I have been looking for a memory care facility for my father-in-law and Truewood Venice made the top of our list after our encounter with the staff and tour of the facility. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly. The place was also very clean and tidy. We were advised by a family member that no place will be perfect but to choose the place where the people who live there seem happiest. Of course, the residents in memory care suffer from some form of dementia but the staff give them purpose and allow them to be as independent as possible, and because of this their contentment and happiness show. The general manager, Z and Staci, our coordinator took a lot of time with us not just talking about the facility but also showing genuine care for us and my father-in-law. We were given a lot of helpful advice and we appreciated how experienced and knowledgeable they were. It was also apparent they care about the residents. We were pleased to know a lot of the staff have been with them for many years so they can build relationships with the residents. We are truly thankful for all the help and care we received from both Z and Staci. We don’t know what the future holds for my father-in-law but we hope he gets to spend the last of his days in Truewood Venice.”

“Going to the dentist for me (before going here) has always been the most frightening thing. I have a phobia, and my teeth have suffered for it. When I moved to Westchester, I needed a new dentist, and I found Dr. George! I am so glad I did. I am terrified of needles, and of pain, but Dr. George makes me feel comfortable in the chair. He's a lovely man, and does a wonderful job of taking care of my teeth. I won't go anywhere else! Everyone in this office is really great. My favorite (besides Dr. George) is my dental hygienist, Nikki. She's so sweet and funny and makes me laugh as she's probing my teeth and cleaning them up. I highly recommend this professional, yet friendly dental office for all your dental needs.”

“I've been going here for eye exams and glasses for probably 6-8 years. I've never had any problems. My most recent visit I enjoyed how friendly the lady was who did my eye exam. I have some, ”invisible illnesses" I had to let her know about and she was great with wanting to understand how they may affect the exam and just being cool about it. When shopping for glasses the woman was knowledgeable about Medi-cal and what they paid for. She helped me to find some different choices and listened well to what I liked and didn't like. I would recommend. I plan on going back.”
