He was very thorough and fully explained everything during the screening exam. He performed a shave biopsy to remove a suspicious mole while in the office and his nurse called me as soon as they got the pathology report back (fortunately benign). “It’s not often I feel really good and comforted about medical experiences. The two practitioners I saw were top-notch. Unfortunately, I had to go twice in one week for different parts of my body, with two different practitioners. I saw Jennie Woody NP, and Jaqueline Myers NP. They were both amazing. They gave me as much time as I needed, were super competent, super friendly, incredibly helpful and responsive when I messaged through the UNC portal. I believe Kim was their nurse/assistant and she was also wonderful. Even the x-ray tech was fantastic (sorry, I can’t remember his name). And they x-ray onsite, only taking minutes during your appt. I got in fairly quickly and they went above and beyond to help me with my issue. You can tell they care and want to help you resolve whatever is going on. I know burnout is all over in the medical profession and I’m sure they’re overworked but it doesn’t show. Thank you for making a really upsetting and stressful life thing so much easier by caring and giving me a little of your time – it made all the difference for me.”

“I met Shannon way back in 2021 from a Groupon for a deep tissue massage and I am so glad I found her! Due to my job and general stress my neck and upper back are in constant work mode. I have had plenty of Swedish/Therapeutic massages in the past which were nice and relaxing but no one could ever really get the knots out of my back. Shannon was my first deep tissue massage and she changed the game for me. I will never go back to a Swedish/Therapeutic massage nor will I go to a different massage therapist than Shannon. She is very intelligent about the body and is always able to work out my knots in my neck and back. I have been a monthly customer ever since I found her in 2021 and will easily recommend her to anyone looking for a deep tissue massage!
