“The Journey Home is an amazing place. Everyone there is compassionate and kind. My wife was only there for about 2 and 1/2 days before going to meet her God. The nurses are very knowledgeable and will answer all and any questions you have, to the best of their abilities. We went from not knowing anyone there and came out being members of a new family. Highly recommend!!! Only problem I saw was that there was not more rooms. They operate on grants and donations. The stay did not cost us anything.”

I tried 3 kids-specific salons and 2 unisex salons over the past 3 years and they always did a disappointing job (e.g. cutting my daughter’s thick, straight hair across the bottom or making my son’s hair look diy 😬). I thought I’d give this place a try and was pretty happy with the experience. Mark showed my normally apprehensive toddler his tools, had him turn on the buzzer, squirt the water sprayer, etc… Mark also actually took the time to cut my daughter’s hair properly (in layers). Both of my kids enjoyed their haircuts which is kind of a weird thing to say, right?”
