“My father has been to Elmhurst 5 times for short term rehabilitation since 2015 and I would NEVER have him go to another short term nursing facility. The rehab program at Elmhurst is wonderful - the team always makes this 96 year old man good as new! He's like a whole new man every time he gets back home - cooking, cleaning, walking around - FULL USE OF HIS LEGS! The care he receives and the attentiveness of the nursing/dietician staff- you can't ask for anything more. I tell EVERYONE to come to Elmhurst!”

“I was seen for a kidney infection. I had a student PA and a few nurses and students as well. It was so wonderful how nice and committed to getting me better everyone was. They got me right in and made sure that I was well informed of what was going on. My mother was a nurse for 32 years so my standards for patient care are pretty high and they far surpassed them. Fingers crossed I don’t need the er anytime soon, but should I find myself in need I will make the drive to this one. Worth it!!! 10/10”

“Here my family and I had the best experience we could have imagined as we watched over my mom while she passed. The nurses, doctor, and staff were so considerate and the facilities were amazing! My sister likened it to a smaller version of St. Judes Children's Hospital. The fountain, garden, and chapel were all so beautiful and gave the house a warming atmosphere. The rooms are very spacious for plenty of family and friends to congregate. There is even a screened porch where you can look out into nature and have some privacy. Thanks to all who were instrumental in my mother's care. I highly recommend this hospice house to anyone needing a place for their loved one. It was a God-send!”

“My wife and I took my mother to Michael's shop to see if a wig would be right for her. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. I had no idea what to expect as I've never experienced the process, but Michael and his team were beyond professional and made us feel like we were the only customers they have. They immediately brought out two wigs they felt would benefit my mom, and our first assumption was that they would be at the upper limit of her price range. In actuality, the wigs they chose to show her were about half the cost she told them she was willing to spend. They had no intention of up-selling for the sake of profit and made it clear that they wanted my mom to feel like herself when she looked in the mirror with the wig on. I was not particularly enthusiastic about going to a wig shop, but I am truly glad I did. I would recommend Michael and his team to anyone who requires a wig.”
