“I had heard wonderful things about Dr. Patel in this practice but when I called to make an appointment with him found that he was not taking new patients. I decided to go with Dr. Hana Burke and couldn't be happier. She is caring, knowledgeable, and fun. I feel like I'm visiting an old friend (although she is younger than me by about 25 years) when I go for my physical. I can tell her all my vices without judgment and get good medical advice on how to develop better habits. She's not quick with a Rx and I like that.”

“It is not the fault of this centre that Doctors are difficult to find. That is a nationwide problem. The staff here are in my experience friendly and helpful but maybe that's because I'm pleasant to them. They have invariably proved resouceful. Repeat prescriptions are dealt with efficiently. The only concern are doctors' appointments, but I use the patient online access app (Google it!) to book in (and do repeat prescriptions) and have always got one to suit. Emergency appointments could be a problem, but how many people are that desperately in need of a doctor? And if you really are that ill the surgery will help or alternatively A&E may be the better solution anyway!”

“The care here is amazing, the nursing staff are very caring and supportive while the therapists are excellent at doing their job and the consultants are highly experienced practitioners - I would recommend Dr David Wood. Unlike other psychiatric hospitals the Priory has a relaxed approach to its therapy which may sometimes appear lax or slow but it's proven to work, I know patients who have left to go elsewhere and returned within a week once they have experienced other care providers. The Priory have a policy of treating you like an adult while fostering a safe and secure environment. It's not to be forgotten though that this is still a psychiatric hospital, not a hotel, and should be measured as such, consequently there will be some patients who will not have enjoyed their time here as you can imagine; the Priory caters for patients with varying degrees of mental illness and sometimes those with issues higher up the scale will find the care contrary to their wishes out of necessity.”

“I am 57, Mr Agrawal operated on me in January 2017, weight loss surgery was one of the biggest decisions I have made in my life - I only wish I hadn’t waited so long. With the help of Mr Agrawal and his brilliant team I chose to have a sleeve gastrectomy, once the decision was made i can’t say I wasn’t scared, I was petrified but I felt I was in good hands and this proved to be true. I was given a very strict pre op liver reduction diet to start three weeks prior to the operation, this was not easy but as time went on it became quite enjoyable, knowing my new life journey had started. The operation went well, I was uncomfortable for a few days. I followed a very strict post operation diet, which introduced me slowly back to normal food. One year later I am six stone lighter and a new woman, I have boundless energy, my blood pressure is normal and I no longer snore, which was a very big issue for me as a woman. I follow a healthy diet, I eat what I like and have no aversion to any foods but my portion sizes are now less than a quarter of what they were - I still enjoy treats, cooking and eating out.
