I had enormous medical bills after cancer surgery and a MRSA infection acquired during surgery (resulting in 2 more surgeries) because a diasagrement between my spouse's medical insurance coverage and Medicare resulted in bills that should have been paid by my spouse's medical insurance with Medicare as secondary coverage were forced onto Medicare only.
