“Been living in Palisades Park for about a year now. Wanted to live in South Korea but it was too big of a move so I did the next best thing. It’s heaven if you like everything Korean. Saw the big political contest and saw that in a close contest Mr. Chung won. Though it’s always been a well run town, I feel like Palisades Park is now “a well oiled machine.”. To give you an example: the roads around were re-paved in about 2 weeks. Though it was inconvenient but the speed at how it was finish made me appreciate the saying “빨리, 빨리!!” (Quickly, quickly!) In Korean. Glad we have a Korean mayor and the town has given him a chance to see what we can do. Thank you for a great start to your administration and wish you and the town the best!”

““It’s not about the dishes” Have y’all heard of that old saying?!? People- we are emotional about the PROCESS and the lack of support the system offers us and our families. Communication is a 2 way street. Senders and receivers. To us- the employees seem to lack empathy and concern, because they don’t have answers, won’t try to find them, are frustrated with our irrational emotional reactions to THEIR response... We aren’t receptive to the minimalist response they give- justifiably so- when our families are about to be homeless or are hungry and the SSA rep says “ You’ll just have to wait.” No offer of resources. No apology (even if empty). Nothing. Just “You'll have to wait” Nope. I can say for myself anyway- that I am not receptive to anything they have to say, once the attitude and irritation I feel from them is apparent. I am sure they’re the same- not receptive to our communication messages being sent when we’re emotional. We have to put ourselves in someone else’s shoes in order to communicate and work effectively together. That’s not going to happen here. Be aware of the situations at hand- is Monday’s are busiest, do you think the information will actually have changed if you call again today?? Realize where you stand before you call, go online, or address the employees. If you know what to expect, you won’t be disappointed.”

“The best option is to schedule an appointment on line. The next best option is to get there early (30+ minutes before opening) to get your name on the list. During the pandemic, if you don't get an appointment be prepared to be there 1 1/2 to 3 hours. They tell you what time to come back so you might can run errands or go back home if the time is later. Everybody we came in contact with were polite and courteous. Waiting is the new norm right now since only so many people can go in at a time.”

“Front desk and help staff are very nice, awesome people. Love those guys at the front desk. Someone crooked in the top ranks makes it nigh impossible to get a report because they decided the place should be open until like 3.30pm. ? Cobb County has their desk open until nearly midnight. For as much taxes as they collect, they should at least have this place open until a minimum of 5pm.”

“Josh is so supportive of our community and state! He is truly looking out for us and how to better our economy in a positive direction. His office has been so helpful and supportive. They were attentive when my family reached out about CARES act funding for my commercial fisherman husband. He and his office helped point me in the right direction for information and application. I’m in full support of Josh Revak and what he stands for. We wholeheartedly trust his honesty and integrity for us as Alaskans and the future of our state!”
