“This is a private pond on my friends property. Every time I go there I catch fish. These are just a few that I've caught. I just catch and release. The one bass on the ground was over 12" long and probably weight around 5 lbs or more the other one was about 3 lbs and 10" long. They put up a good fight. That's what fishing is all about. “My (new) husband and I wanted a low key Halloween wedding. We chose this courthouse as Santa Cruz is a beautiful and quirky/fun location. We were not expecting anything special, but were thrilled with everything! Our paperwork was processed quickly, and we were allowed to go into the wedding room to take pictures. The room was specially decorated with skeletons, spiders, halloween candy, cookies, and even sparkling cider for us. Our officiant was amazing, and dressed as Prince Charming. He read special Halloween-themed vows that were absolutely perfect. Every person we met seemed extremely happy to have us, and very excited to celebrate the holiday! I would definitely recommend this location to any other spooky couples (or any couples, really) who want a beautiful, personal, and fun ceremony. Thank you again so much to the staff of the Santa Cruz Courthouse for making our wedding ceremony a memory we will treasure forever. ”
